The Gardener Queen

Nice and pixel stylish. After a while (and several tries) I think I got into the birth / build / devour cycle until I suddendly was ambushed by loads of these attackers which my turrets did not kill fast enough (at about 90 points). Music was a bit repetitive, but thats ok. All in all a fun experience, I liked it. Good job for an "almost" compo!

@zondarg Thanks! Yeah, that ambush could be smoothed out for sure. But it's possible to last a little longer if you stock up on turrets.

I liked the concept, I think the worker spawner ball broke the game though... Once I had that I could infinitely place build podiums and have all the health and attack I wanted... I don't know if it would break the balance but it would have also been nice to choose the worker type as well.

Nice work!! I seemed pretty invincible after I had spawned a bunch of attack turrets and a fair amount of heart turrets, but it was fun figuring out the best strategy. Seems like there should be a steady increase in the rate of attackers. Got to a 100 points before I stopped!
I think it would be interesting if space consideration was more of a thing. Maybe the turrets each take a different amount of space, or degrade/disappear after a while? Upgrades would be cool too! That's my favorite part of tower defense games... unlocking those super powerful towers!

Nice game, but it's a bit unbalanced. It's too easy to win and not enough challenge, but it's still great game that can be developed further.

A linear tower defense game – it’s an interesting idea. In terms of graphics I thought you did a good job with the queen. The music was a bit repetitious, but overall this is a playable game that I found to be challenging enough.
