Dollars are worthless, British Pounds are not even worth the paper it is printed on, and other currencies like the Yen and the Euro are but a memory. Alternative currencies like Personal Identifiable Data and Bitcoin have also collapsed.
But money does not matter only LIFE!
The life of you and others are put at risk in a racing game. The only survivor receives fame and glory!
You drive the red car and can shoot blood clots. Shoot too many and you loose your life; your currency. Shoot too few and you loose the game.

Sorry, that I didn't have time to make it better (more levels, more graphics, more explosions, more soundeffects). I started out with melonjs, then ditched that and started from scratch with pixijs. Hope you like it anyway!
I use to play the mess out of the slot-car game that came bundled with pcs way back when. I was in the lead 100% of the time with a gun I had no use for. Give the leading player things to shoot at please.
A fun idea for a game and I love the music. The controls is overall okay, but sometimes they did not work. Over a fine LD game with a funny/interesting story. Well done.
Have trouble in my screen to see the hole track so y need to scroll down and lost positions while doing it. Nice work on the competitors and it would be so good to add a reverse button because i got stuck almost in every corner :v Congratulations!
Greetings for the game! It's a little frustrating when you get stuck in the corners, and in the begining it's difficult to understand de goal of the game because is not a race (in fact, a good strategy is to drive in the opposite direction and fire the other cars head-on. This game reminds me the film "Death Race". It was a challenge to get down all the other cars. Congratulations!
Corners, I hate those guys! Nice game dude, I haven't seen many racing games so far on this LD. I don't know how exactly you made youк game, but a bigger map or zoom could benefit a lot (maybe there are some limitations but I am not aware so this is up to your judgment). Overall, the game is decent, especially the theme. Hope you had fun during development, good luck with future projects.
Hard - fun - clever. I love the main background track. Sometimes I stuck in the corners and it is a litle bit frustrating. However you did a solid entry. I wish you the best. Thank you ++
Nice concept! I got stuck often in the corners as well: while the controls didn't feel necessarily clunky, road tiles are small and there's little room to steer accurately, specially if we also have to aim and shoot at the same time.
Other than the corners being sticky it was a nice game. I think there needs to be a penalty for being last, as I was able to sit in one spot and snipe people driving past. While fun, it sort of makes the game a bit cheesey :D
The idea is certainly something I think more cart-racing games can learn from. Often you collect coins or something in those games for not immediately apparent effects. But your game includes a health system and all. The use of pixijs is also pretty impressive, well done!
It was nice, but lacked some elements. There probably should be some lap system, because now it's not even about racing. Also, health regeneration would be good, now when you have not enough health you have to waith for death. Some more polish and it would be cool :)
@datagreed Thanks for letting me know. It is strange though, I have tested it on both Chrome and Safari in OSX and it works for me. If you have the time, please try again. And you did press spacebar, I assume?
