Started as a blatant NES Contra clone, turned out somewhat a different game. All music and SFX were pre-made by myself sometime in 2011, I think.

Controls:
Arrow keys to run and aim
Z to fire
X to jump

Down+Jump to jump off the ledge

Programs used:

FamiTracker for BGM and SFX
mspaint32.exe for sprites and tiles (they are mostly placeholders though)
Game Maker: Studio 1.4.9999

It is a functional Contra clone. Shooting and jumping felt okay (but I have noticed a few glitches with jumping). There was some questionable level design (especially in second stage). I really liked the music. Good job.
