Fun Little Game! The art was nice and the music was very good. The game was a little slow at first, but once I worked out you could press shift to sprint, it was a lot easier. The game could do with some more levels as well.

@martintale The game is built using OpenGL and is supposed to work on non-Windows systems as well.

I've just added a MacOS port of the game; but I personally haven't been able to test this cross-platform integration, but (fingers crossed) it should work.

Really liked the graphics, the eggs were cute and the gameplay has lots of potential, just needed some more levels with more challenging puzzles.

Great little puzzle platformer, the egg cracking mechanic adds a good bit of fun to it.

I'm so jalous of your little sprites, they look amazing ! Gameplay wise, the farmer is a little slow but outside of that, it's a great little game, would have liked to play more level =).

Pretty fun game! Wish there were more levels and mechanics. The graphics and audio were great (but the audio was a bit loud, wish I could have turned it down a bit). Also, speeding up player movement would probably make the game feel better overall.

Eggscelent work! I liked the graphics, the walking animations in particular were really smooth. I also felt it was a bit slow, and I didn't know you could run until I read it here in the comments - I think you should add it to at least the game's Ludum Dare description, if not in the game itself.

Also, can I ask what the 77 and 10 in the corner means?

@niterich Ah, I left those numbers in? Those are the basal frame rate and entity counter respectively.

I'll also make sure to update the page to specifically include the fact that you can run by holding down shift.

Cute! I love the mood created by the graphics and music! The puzzles themselves were frankly quite obvious, something more complex would be nice.

I wish I had known that you could run, I discovered it after I have beaten the game, haha. The whistling isn't really utilized, since the player just has to do it at the beginning and the end of each level.

I found a bug - after you restart the very first level after beating it (for some reason xD), it's not cleared and you cannot win anymore.
It looks funny tho.

@suchista Huh, interesting bug! I'm surprised I missed that when I was testing out the restart mechanics.

I was initially planning on adding more levels and concepts to the game (such as pulleys and/or fluffy sheep that break the fall of eggs), but I started to run out of time before I could implement more than just the base concepts to the game.

Great entry, and beautiful graphics! The puzzles were a bit easy, but this concept definitely has potential for more levels and features! I cracked one egg by dropping a box to his head :(
