Save Darryl the baby turtle from danger! Darryl is a very curious, very newly born, very adorable little turtle that just wants to make friends. Little does Darryl know, that the innocent looking things on this cruel new world he has been bought into wants to kill and eat him! Darryl will interrupt you and try go back to the evils on the beach. You have to look after Darryl and keep him alive! Make sure he reaches the shore and joins the rest of his adorable turtle kind.
Move with the WASD keys, when Darryl moves to a dangerous area mash A & D to stop him from moving towards the danger.
Simple. Fun! I don't know how the detection works on some of these things. I tried to stray far enough but even Daryl is getting dragged from someone OUTSIDE the screen. I feel that shouldn't be.
Other than the bug of A&D sometimes not working when mashing before a few restarts, the game its job very well!

This was very fun! It's quite short, but that probably due to the lack of time :wink: I had to open it twice (I think there was a small bug that prevented it from loading - could be on my behalf though...)
I really liked the game. I did have an issue with not being able to save Daryl as well. It seems like it wouldn't register the key presses. I liked the art quite a bit.
Simple but really well implemented. Trying to find the optimal way to walk around the dangers to have time to escape took me some time but finishing it was very rewarding. Cute visuals as well. Great job!
I like turtles! Cute and simple little game. Button mashing worked for me. I liked the sprites although the crab sprite not having black outlines breaks some consistency. I wish there was some sound as well.
The game is idea simple and fun. The graphics is pretty good, but the game really needs some music and/or some sound effects. Sadly the fighting system did not work for me. Overall is this fun little jam game.
I thought at first you had to repeatedly press the opposite direction of where Darryl was going (to prevent him from going there) but once I understood how it worked, I managed to save Darryl in a bit more than 56 seconds ^^
The graphics are nice, though I'm not sure I understand what the pile of rock next to a thermometer might be (trash ?), but overall a cute little game. I would have loved some audio as well :)
Well done! The graphics are really nice but some sounds and music would make this game even better. I also didn't really like how it fits in with the theme since your pretty much just keeping the player alive.
