So I did an update and took into account what you said.
-I made a 'safe zone' around the plant where flames can't spawn, I added an Invincibility time after you get hit,multiplied by 2 the time before a lightning bolt spawns and made the background darker for better contrast.I'd like to add a life bar to the plant but i'm not sure I'm allowed to do that because the compo time is over now.however,you can see its "state" with its color.The darker it is,the drier it is.
