A world overrun by machines and factories, on the border of ecological destruction, has finally found a solution to its inevitable doom: a portal to another dimension, which leads to a near identical planet.
The method is simple: just send all the junk through the portal, and let the others deal with it. There is no way your factories are gonna stop, how would you get all that big money without them! We all know that recycling is just a hack to lose money. But there is one problem… they have also mastered the portal technology!
It is a kill or be killed situation in this real-time, resource management strategy game! You gotta save your home from total annihilation. There is no time for that ethics nonsense, just do what you need to do.
THE CONTROL
Because of lake of time we couldn't do a tutorial, please read if you want to play :) :
Player 1
W and S: Opens and closes menu A and D: Moves through the menu/Rotates planet Space: Selects option from the menu
Player 2
Up and Down Arrow: Opens and closes menu Left and Right Arrow: Moves through the menu/Rotates planet Enter: Selects option from the menu
-Game mechanics-
1) Building: Build sites that have different functions
-Factory: Generates money, but also waste -Dumping site: Stores waste -Incinerator: Reduces waste -Portal: Sends waste to the other planet
2)Upgrade Improves characteristics from each building site
Not bad for a first entry ! Took me some time to figured out controls though. For the next players : WASD + SPACE to manage left planet and arrows + enter to manage right planet. Anyway, spawned Midgar and Sauron Eye, so I'm happy with that
@the-martijn Yeah you right everyone is saying the same thing, we need to have some guidance in our game, thanks for the feedback and we're glad you enjoyed it!
I like the concept! I think there's some fun potential with this idea. I didn't have two people to play with, but could see how it could be a lot of fun when playing against another player. Of course, I had trouble keeping my earth alive without someone else sending me their trash!
As many others have said, a tutorial would be great and a single player mode would be a nice addition. A little more polish and you've got a solid game. Good job, y'all!
I can see it being fun for two people but it's hard to fairly judge the game as a single player. The graphics are nice and I like how you made a more competitive game from the theme. I do feel the controls are a bit confusing at first. Overall though good job!
@zollmaniac Thank you for the feedback! We're currently working on a better UI and a tutorial to had more clarity! A single player mod with a basic AI could be cool!
@john-snyder Thank you! Yes that's a problem, even for us it was hard to test it, i don't think next time we'll on a versus game because of that :)! Thanks for feedback!
I can't really play
