The concept was cute. I loved how logs were save points. The fire looked good enough. The ground and platforms looked meh. The one terrible thing about this game was the controls. You should use make sure that every game loop iteration you're testing for every button being down or not and reacting to that. A bug that caused the controls feel broken was that I could sometimes jump but could not change directions mid-air.
It was fun to play and platforms burning because you're fire was interesting. The controls felt very unresponsive at times though, which caused me to die a few times. Not all water killed me, the first and a few of the last waterfalls seem like they don't do anything.
Pressing up and then right does a vertical jump. Overall all movements felt delayed by a second, maybe because of too much inertia. I liked the fire animation.
