Flower Defense is a tower defense game with the flower as the centerpiece. This is our second game jam! The enemies are incoming in waves while you collect resources and build powerful turrets and traps!
Controls:
WASD to move;
Mouse to aim;
Left-click(or hold) to shoot;
Q/Esc to open/close the store catalog;
(you can use mouse scrollbar to scroll in the store)
To buy, click on the desired item and the hit the buy button.
Place it down with left click or cancel your purchase with the right-click!
Some people didn't know how to buy drills so here is a reminder. Press Q/ESC to open the shop and then u can scroll with the mouse scrollbar up so u can see the option to buy a drill
Pretty fun game, I liked it. At first I thought the SNIPERNATOR is not working, but I realized it was my mistake :D The ghost are very cute. The overall gameplay if great, I liked the diversity in enemies. The waves come fast, it's a little hard to go fetch some resources, because the base gets attacked very fast. But, it's fun, and I spent a good time with it
This was a very nice game with a peaceful mood. I've seen some incoherences betweens graphic assets so I guess they are not from you, but it gives a nice mood. The turrets are a bit hard to buy and no very effective. GG !
The basic game loop is there. Good job. Collecting items, Building and fighting are fun. The player looks cute. Unifying visuals could improve the experience. Outlines are different. Player does not have an outline.
Damn. Wanted to play again after seeing WormholeGames's screenshot, but now the game doesn't start :( It might be something to do with screen size and the fact that I'm running DisplayFusion.

Took a second to figure it out, but it's a good game. The pixel scale of the graphics is a bit inconsistent, but that's how it goes in an LD game. It is impressive how far it goes, as can be seen in a previous screenshot, and I like the idea of collecting resources as a more interactable process. Almost inspirational. That's really good.
Great tower defense game! Wish the basic turrets were a little bit more useful, perhaps shooting in a directional cone instead of straight line. Loved playing it though, great art!
This tower defense game is well made. I encountered no bugs. I didn't read the instructions but I got most of the mechanics because I played these type of games. I wish there was a button to scroll up and down or a scrollwheel text to show that there are more types of turrets and diggers. Other than those instructions which I could also just read in the controls section, I can say nothing bad about the game. The music and sound effects are also nice to the ears. I enjoyed playing I just got too confident with my turrets I left them to gather wood sticks but I got stumped by a potato bag giant zombie.
Great job on this game! The art is so well done and I love the concept!
I did have an issue where after i selected a turret, i was committed to placing it. I attempted to pick a different turret and it ended up placing the turret instead in a bad spot.

Once I figured out how to play properly, managed to finish it. Good game!
Well done! Towards the end the biggest issue (for me) seemed to be managing all the drops. Some structures to push around drops would be very helpful!
