It's time for the big Goblympic Games. You are the torch bearer. Fuel and grow the flame during the ascension to the top of the tower, where it can shine during the games.
Move with W A S D Shoot with left mouse button Open the minimap with tab
The controls are only WASD, so I couldn't enjoy that much the game because not everyone has a QWERTY keyboard and you didn't setup the arrow keys as alternative inputs
Same remark as @snowirbis, at least changing for arrow keys would be great. The random map generation is a good idea since it makes every game different, but i find that it has a too strong impact on the progression. Sometimes I spawn right next to a room full of fuel and i can almost skip the level instantly, and sometimes I can travel almost the entire maps before finding the first fuel. If you fix it the gameplay would be much better. The game lacks animations and maybe the visuals are too abstract. The music fits your olympic stuff great but at some point I muted my speaker because it was just too repetitive and too high-pitched. Nice entry anyways and great job !
Quick reminder to get more players: Use a thumbnail for your game. Otherwise your game is presented with this grey box. Some great Games are not played because of a missing thumbnail ... You can still change it by editing your submission page :)
Nice fun game ! I liked the original concept of keeping the Goblympic flame alive :D The character controls well, and it goes the same for the shoot mechanic !
However, the lack of feedback sounds missed me a lot during my playthrough. And also on UI side, I think that it would have been nice to have always an arrow to show where the flame is, when we are far from it, indeed, sometimes I had trouble to find it x)
Nice game but could do with more visual feedback. When I press E for example or when I pick up fuel it could make a little sound or particle effect. Good job though!
