Fun and neat! Congrats! Mixing an arcade genre with trying to get empathy to our little baby larva is a great idea for this theme.

Usually I hate escort missions but this is very well made! Its also spot on with the theme. I love that unique art style!

With a few tweeks on bullets (damage and speed VS enemy HP and numbers) I can see a very strong game. good job !

Amazing game, i like the retro style, and the art make me think to megaman. The idea to protect the larva and gain experience after feeding etc... really nice for the theme ! Great entry, i enjoy to play that.

I see a lot of games starting too difficult or starting too easy and never adjusting. This felt perfect in the difficulty ramp up. The only thing I think I would've liked to see was some powerups to add more gameplay variety, maybe in a post-jam version if you guys plan to continue working on it. Great job!

I think I'm in the same boat as a lot of people where I can say that I hate escort missions in games, but this one has a different feel to it. Plays pretty well. Would have loved some more variety in what you can do as the player, but it felt solid overall. Quite unforgiving if you accidentally step into a pit, though :'(

Loved this, it felt good to play, and was easy to learn. Maybe something like a stamina system would be good, being able to spam both the abilities and hold down both shooting modes all the time feels OP.

This was surprisingly fun, haha. Very simple concept but balanced well, with a decent amount of game feel for a jam game! Not a whole lot to offer aside from a desire for more content and polish - which you're obviously not going to get from a jam game. Good job!!
