Game made for ludum dare 46! Your race awake to the new millennium. Will you survive the test of time?
Instructions
Drag and drop units to allocate them Units in space will lose health over time Civilian units on a planet will lose population if planet has a lack of resources (except mineral)
Right click on a civilian unit to create a new civilian unit.
The game has no end, but this is the best I could do on Jam time D:!
I spammed the build army button and that's about it. Couldn't figure out what else to do other than consuming the planet. Perhaps a little bit of guidance could go a long way. Or maybe its just user error :((
This seems like a nice game in the style of The Ho ! But i can’t seem to be able to do anything (when i click on the planet, a lot of buttons appear but none of them do anything, for example the minerals stay at 3000 even if i click on Mining +) Could someone explain to me how i’m supposed to play ? @roberto-romao
I really like the idea of choosing your different race and the different space ship artwork/story that goes with each is ace! Didn't seem to be any audio or was that just me? I couldn't tell if I have clicked or selected something. Was going to say I'd love to explore your space then I stumbled upon space bar and 'bought' your 'explore the galaxy' and found two more ace designed planets. I really like this concept, well done :)
I really wanted more instructions for the interface. I know there's a game here, but players don't want to work to find it. Time constraints make it tough to build a tutorial, but yeah....
@asimov-io (: So you have to discover new planets. My bad on don`t put a tutorial on the game D: So press [Space Bar] and use the button on Galaxy exploration section to find new planets (but you need more Tech, u can harvest tech from selected planets IF they have it)
was able to play it just fine :) Good jam entry. I wasn't super sure what I was supposed to be doing. But there is certainly potential. Keep up the good work!
Would have loved if you had managed to finish this off more! The idea of scouting for new planets and having to move units around different planets once you've consumed them seems like it could be fun. Really could have done with some feedback when my click was actually doing something - it felt like nothing was working then I realised I had spawned 10 units ontop of eachother! Would have rated higher if it was little more complete.
