Explore The Dilapidated Hospital for health packs to stay alive longer. Avoid the enemies so they don't corrupt you. Stand next to the computer to empty it's "cache" and keep it alive.
The doors protect the scientists working on a cure, don't let the "cache" fill up or the computer will crash, opening the security doors that are keeping the scientists alive. note: A blinking warning sign will appear when your computer is about to crash.
The rooms are randomly generated. You have six shots for shooting the corruption. note: it will reload by itself when you use up your shots. Collect health packs to make sure your hunger doesn't get too low. Try to get the good ending and beat your best time!

Controls: wasd = move
mouse to aim
Left-click to shoot
E on a health pack to regain health
Q on a health pack to un-corrupt yourself
R to reload your gun
C to toggle a compass on and off to find your way back. Keep it off for more of a challenge!
F4 to toggle full screen
press enter to skip text

System failure is a game made in 72 hours for Ludum Dare 46. Everything was made in the time limit except the 2D lighting system by Jobo.

Fascinating idea for this jam. The music and the creepiness of the creatures gave it a great ominous/fearful environment. While it was a lot of fun to play, the way you were meant to win is confusing. I just kept dying from rapid hunger depletion until one time I got the "good ending". I have no idea what I did differently to change the outcome.

really cool game; the best one i played today! played it twice; first time i died because i apparently didn’t eat the burgers (sadly you can’t interact with them, and also the food bar didn’t change but then i got the good enging

Pros:
- It's quite moody game
- Minimalist graphics are quite cute
- Fits the theme well

Cons:
- Camera movement can be a bit hard to get used to
- It's was slightly unclear on when you lose and win conditions

Overall it's cool moody game. I feel it could use some polish in terms of communicating game rules.
