Dinosaur Game Level 1

The This Is The Only Level vibes are strong with this one :D

Since I have played This Is The Only Level, a lot of the gimmicks were familiar to me. I can see this game as really confusing to people who havent played that though.

I'd suggest adding hints about what is happening in each stage to give players a clue about what's going on.

This is soooooo addicting and so much fun!!

I started getting sick on the spinning level. Great implementation of all these though!

I like all the creativity. Hard to think of something criticize given the nature of the game... but the last screen implies there's no way to exit, and yet falling enough times through the hole in the floor can boost your speed to such heights that you disappear. hm...

Nice imagination of the level design and all "puzzle". First when I read the description I through it was a copy of the dinosaur game in google but I was well surprised! Good job. May be you can add a timer for each level + a global timer if we want to speed run the game once we finished it one (I can't finish it I had a bug at the end)

@nekorio I'm sorry to hear about that. What was the bug you ran into at the end so I can try and fix for other people. (Unless it's gameplay related(Ludum Dare rules))

Having never played the this is the only level, i really was enjoying this take on it. I did enjoy coming at it fresh.

Nice creative puzzles, had a good laugh when I was the button. Hopefully I didn't miss anything in the win screen haha.

The platforming itself tho was really tricky, The spikes hitboxes were way too large, the speed of the player was way too fast, the gravity too low, it kinda took away from the game when I had to battle with the platforming instead of solving the actual puzzles.

Still a very creative entry, well done!

This is great! I played it all the way through (I hope?). I think this might be one of my favorites this jam :smile: There were some really clever changes to the level. My only gripe is that the platforming mechanics felt a bit too floaty for my liking

This was really good! As someone else mentioned this really reminds me of *This Is The Only Level*. I thoroughly enjoyed this game and each 'level' was a unique, creative idea. It was a little difficult sometimes but overall fantastic. Good job!!

Cute game! I love how the stage/rules change. The jumping was a little wonky sometimes but it didn't really hurt the game. The web build's resolution was a little too big for my screen XD, but I still managed to beat the game.

Definately one of the best games I played this year. A great concept, with some very creative levels.

Very fun little game! I'm not sure if I reached the last part because my dinosaur just disappeared during the part 17 (which made me really sick by the way ahah)...

Ended up being genuinely surprised with your entry. I hardly find any complains, I really liked your creativity and what you've done with the theme. The music is a bit annoying at some point but maybe that's the plan :D. It was a fun and addictive little game, congrats!!

Good little puzzle game, and like how it switched up. I haven't beat it yet(if it does have an end) Little dino just trying to find the way. Great job!

I had some genuine fun with this one. It really teleported me back to the era of early 2000s flash games. I'd say you nailed that vibe to a T. :ok_hand: Controls were a little floaty, but overall very nicely done!

As mentioned in the stream, I *have* played *This is The Only Level*, and having played that...I blame that Flash game from taking away my enjoyment of this one. I genuinely think I would have enjoyed this game a lot more have I come in fresh, but as mentioned in the stream, I couldn't help compare the two.

It would have been nice to see this game put more focus on puzzles than it currently has right now. Although, given it's a compo game, I recognize that's asking for a lot. It's pretty hard implementing new mechanics in a time crunch, already.

This is awesome! Good humour, and I enjoyed passing through the different... wait, the same level... over and over. The puzzles could have been a bit harder, which would have added to my enjoyment, but otherwise awesome game. The music added to the mood, and the graphics were cute. Good entry!
