Olivia is a platformer in which its titular character is trapped eternally walking between two walls -- stuck in a loop she cannot escape. Move the walls containing her and help her get to the end.
To move, use the A and D keys. If Olivia gets stuck, just press ESC to help her out.
Avoid hitting enemies, press buttons to progress, and make it to the end no matter what! There's also a Secret Ending for those who wish to seek it out.
This is my first game jam ever, and this was a really fun experience. I decided to participate in the Jam rather than the Compo as I wanted to ease myself into working within a time limit -- but all assets, music, etc. is made entirely by myself. I'm pretty sure there are a few bugs, but I couldn't squash them in time. Also, even though the style of the game leans more on the lighthearted side, I opted out of the Humor voting category as I don't really feel like the game is fully meant to be humorous.
For your first jam this was pretty good it fit the theme pretty well and it was fun trying to avoid enemies and not fall it kept you at the edge pretty nice
good use of the theme. For some reason when I first loaded the game I had no controls. Just the MC walking back and forth. Once I refreshed the whole web page I was able to move the walls.
This was genius!!! I loved the use of the theme and I had some real 'aha' moments dropping those suckers in pits  :smiling_imp: Thanks for the fun game
Good game! Really great concept and well done, I really like what you did with the theme, it's really intelligent, Some more levels would been nice, also, I found it funny when olivia just died when the game ended lol, great entry!
Very nice entry for your first jam, congrats! I liked the concept, well thought through and good interpretation of the theme. It was interesting to work through the levels and come to the solution. Graphically the game was nice, and the leaves falling were a nice touch. Some more feedback or 'juice' would be good, like when hitting the walls or the reactions of buttons. Also the music is simple, but pleasing - perfect for the background and I appreciate how it changed slightly between levels. Great entry!
A great concept. I've not seen anything like that before. The sounds and music suit the visual style, but some of the sfx that play during gameplay seem to have clicks or bad edits in them. Also, it got frustrating to try to avoid enemies and also not fall in the pits sometimes. With some fine-tuning for difficulty, this game has a lot of promise.
This is a really unique and innovative concept for a puzzle platformer. I did find the levels to be a little frustrating, with lots of trial and error. Also, there's not really any theme with the graphics, like, the platforms and backgrounds are in silhouette, but the walls are made of detailed stone, and the characters are all office workers? Besides that, this is good for your first game jam, congratulations on finishing.
