I had fun with this. Almost made it level 7 before dying. Being forced to switch between attacking and dodging adds some interesting flow. Quality felt consistent and the enemy hits were satisfying. Nice work!
There's something special in this game with the two ways of moving, but I find the movement of the character not very comfortable and the action a bit repetitive. Apart from that the pixel art and animation are nice.
cool mechanic , i wish there was more enemy types and maybe more types of player after some levels . or maybe i didnt get there . also there was something weird in snake thing movement speed

I wish change the mode myself, so I can choose the time to attack or collect orb, that maybe better.
