Cute art style. Great job

I love the art style! This game does a great job of building tone with the opening scene and music. I like how you're plopped in the ocean with no direction other than to dive down. At first I wasn't sure what I was expected to do, but I quickly assumed this was about the mood of the game and was intended to be reflective. I think it does a great job of that. When collecting the gold meant I couldn't swim up anymore it felt like a statement on my greed. I loved it! My only criticism so far is that it ends too soon! Let me dive deeper!

Really cool to see another diving game, its interesting how we both went different ways and how you made a really chill calm diving experience. I adore the art style and music, really sets the mood of the experience. I do wish there was more challenges to the game and that it would be longer, maybe places to discover and people to talk to.

Mainly because it was a nice experience being in the game world you created. This has the potential to be like a upside down 2D version of Short Hike!

The background music was very relaxing and the art was pleasant to look at. I did expect, however, the game to be a little bit longer concidering 10 people worked on it.

@phoenix-fireflower you're right for waiting a longer game, considering 10 people worked on it. FOr the context, we are note professionals, even students in video game. We are just a bunch of friends who like videogames and who participated in diferent degrees in realisation of this one. For example, certain people who are credited have just took part in the first discussion when the theme was given. I hope this helps you understand much the length of the game.

J'ai beaucoup aimé les visuels, en particulier le style du menu, de l'intro et de la conclusion.
Les musiques sont belles, dommage que les transitions soient si abruptes mais je ne saurais pas faire mieux !
L'exploration est agréable, et j'aime beaucoup le fait que le jeu soit concis.

I enjoyed the music very much. Great art and the world felt huge (I played twice so I could see it all). The octopus was particularly delightful. The main character seemed at be at a different scale than the rest of the world. Not sure why you're forced to go down at some point, that took away from feel like I beat the game myself (being pushed up wasn't so bad, but the game could have just ended there).

I liked the ideas that I saw. I can imagine if the fish acted friendly or attacked you and cleaning up the trash could have been fun too. So even if there wasn't any gameplay to them, they sparked my imagination.

The game was a nice little experience. Not much to play with but the exploration of the world with its different layers was nice.

The art and music were pretty delightful.

And I especially like that despite the minimalistic mechanic the game managed to tell a story of character change.

Ok, this game is very pretty! I love the art as well as the music. Sure, there isn't much to do in terms of gameplay, but the great mood and atmosphere makes up for it. I'm very glad I tried it out, it was great!

There have been a few gorgeous entries this LD, and this certainly is one of them. What a unique style you have! I felt like such an asshole for spending like 2minutes trying to wiggle myself up to a coin (which I didn't manage to reach) when I found out that there was a person in need at the bottom, haha (or was it "yourself" like you hint in the description? I hope so... It would make me less of a bad person).

The presentation is just phenomenal, you clearly know how to tell a story. Everything from the little "cutscenes" to the overall presentation and music is just so well put together. After I was done I was left with a feeling of wanting more.

I read someone commenting on your team size and being disappointed by the game length. They have clearly never worked with a large team, it takes a lot of effort to organize a lot of people and not everyone has the same skillsets.

This is one of the better entries I have played this jam, I enjoyed every minute of it! Great job!
