This is the first entry I've played so far where I've got to the end and wanted more! The concept is unique, it's fun and challenging, and I really like the PICO-8-esque presentation. Great work!
Cool graphics and a neat central mechanic, this would be great as a tablet/touchscreen game with swipe controls. I found it really hard, though, so couldn't really see much of the level, I couldn't get much further past the area shown in the .gif graphic. This is crying out for some bleepy bloopy chiptune music. :)
I like the mechanic. It works well. It's a good level of difficulty, since it took a handful of tries to make it to the bottom. Nice animations too. It's fun.
loved this! fun mechanic, short and sweet game. love the ending. if you continue working on it, maybe a less powerful alternate-fire could be helpful for more precise movements? great work
One of the more fun game I have played this jam. I really like the fireball mechanic. I think you need to explain that you can launch it mid-air, as I first though it was like golf and you had to wait to land to go again. Really cool movement mechanic, would like to see it expanded on.
This game is a really good analog for what I think of when thinking about good jam games. Everything about it is extremely simple, from the gameplay to the graphics, but it uses what is has very well. It feels like a small slice of what would be a good full scale game.
I can't really think of anything specifically negative about what is in there so far, it just needs to be expanded upon. Get some music in there, add more content to get through, add some unique level mechanics like moving objects or something, you'll have a great game in no time. Fantastic work!
@kovi Thank you, I'm flattered, really appreciate your feedback! I thought about adding moving platforms and traps on the ground, but I didn't have time left for it, I'll probably add more content to a post-jam version!

I didn’t realize that the game would slow down when you hold down the button. So I would hardly make it past the second part. But it got easier later.
I feel like random levels would work very well for this game.
