Try not to die of thirst or hunger, while exploring the floors of this underground construction.
But... For what?

--Use WASD to move

--E to interact

--And 'R' to restart the level

--Try to get all the items in the level and return to the place you started, then press 'E' to go back to your camp.

--There are 5 levels in this version

--You can hide behind anything that cast a shadow, the enemy will not see you there, but you'll have a worse vision of the enemy.

(If you can´t pass the first level, even after finishing it, try the downloadable version "it happens more in firefox, i´ll try to fix it, but for now, that´s what i can do.")

I was stuck somewhere in the middle and then I realized that I used wrong keys. Kepp up going!

Very spooky and moody, although I would touch this little circle thing, and the screen would do the static stuff, and I would be stuck like that and had to keep reloading the page. And as soon as I would walk into the room, the circle would go right for me like it could always see me. Maybe give it a little line of sight thing?

I didn't get past the first floor--it wasn't clear to me how to escape the enemies. That said, I thought the lighting was very good, and the use of audio and minimalistic graphics to set the atmosphere was very effective.

The noise shader and sounds when getting hit made it spooky :)

I found a small bug: In the first screen I can walk using the arrow keys, in the second screen I can only use WASD

I'm not sure if it's a bug or not, can we actually pass the first day and see other levels? When I complete the level and go back to the shelter, it keeps telling me that it's day one. When leaving the shelter again, I access the same level (btw, when accessing the level a second time, it appears that the lignting and shadows effect didn't work anymore.

Congrats, you made it actually spooky, thanks to the lighting and the creature's sound effects. The character pixel art is pretty good.

Let me know if I missed something ; for now I will rate you from what I saw :)

@rolly I just played the game and it worked just fine, i completed the level and got to the next one, i don´t know what happened for you, i´ll try to find what happened and fix it, thanks for your feedback.

I couldn't beat the first floor either, the enemy kept catching me. It seemed like it was maybe a stealth kind of game, where I needed to hide in the shadows? But the camera was zoomed in pretty close so I couldn't tell where the enemy was until it was heading right for me.

It takes a few times to learn the movement of the enemy. Great jam. Love the art style and audio. Was it inspired by "This War of Mine"?

@gregfagan It really is a stealth game, you can hide behind anything that cast a shadow, the enemy will not see you there, but you will have a worse vision of the enemy, he is not invisible, it is just more difficult to see. Thanks for the feedback on the gameplay, but i don´t think that the camera can be moved away from the player, it was a design choice to make the levels feel a little more claustrophobic, so maybe adding more direction to where the sound is coming from is a good way of improving the game in the future?
