Nice game, but you should add end game screen at the last level also i dont know where my gun is shooting.

Good job man! Really addicting going through each level and shooting! The invisible maiden was an interesting enemy! It did seem like at times I would spawn and die almost immediately since the enemies were right on me maybe if they had been pushed back a bit on spawn it would have given more time to back away? Regardless good job!

The monster spawn positions could have a minimum distance from the player. Many times it was impossible to survive at all since you spawn into monsters that instakill you. A crosshair would also be good.

Other than that it was nice, the kill sounds were meaty and it was fun clearing many monsters in one shot!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Fixed the situation with spawning into enemies and periodic failure of the transition to the next level.

Wow that was trippy! Probably the closest to being on LSD I've had from a video game yet! Love the audio - really adds to the experience, and some of the UI replacements (like instructions on floor, door to change window mode, etc.) were nice touches! Great work

My demons almost got me, glad I had a shotgun. Super fun play on the theme, I had a lot of fun with this one.

Demn bro I am really scared now this is like most of my dreams honestly no crosshair but good gun feels like trying to punch hard but cant punch hard but it could work like a hardest game in the world kinda game it suits the theme though should have had cross hair thats the only complain rest everything is fine

Nice job! I like the concept quite a bit, but I found aiming to be pretty difficult. Since you are always on a 2d plane, maybe you could lock the persepective to always be straight ahead, like OG Doom? Some auto aim would help too, I had a very hard time hitting bad guys. Still, it's a cool blaster that fits the theme well. Nicely done!

Very odd game :P I found that I was constantly just backing to evade the swarms of bats, throngs of ghosts and hordes of-... hippos? Is that what they were? Anyway, trippy and strange, but fun! Well done :)

@pbg Thanks for playing! We wanted to complicate the task for the player a little by the lack of convenient aiming, so that he had to act more actively.

the game was really cool and the idea about a drug addicting overdosing is really neat. however i would like a crosshair to indicate were you are shooting, its fine for the most part but a lot of times the bat enemy somehow dodges all of my shots, also in most of the levels the enemies surround you right at the begining and i have to bunny hop out of there, i didnt find any bugs. overall really good game for such a short period of time, but it could use some improvements

The game was very clunky and weird but I felt like that just added to its charm, also I really liked the final boss.

I like the weirdness and atmosphere. The gameplay is okay, but it's nothing super special. Overall a pretty good jam game. Well done.

Really fun and hectic game!
I was worried there would be a twist that everything you was shooting were innocent bystanders or something. But luckily it didnt end that way.

Very fun and engaging double-barrel action! I liked the overall feel of the gameplay.

Solid fucking game. Makes me re-evaluate all other mood scores I have given out this Ludum Dare. I got sick chills from those ghost thingies, and even when I failed and died it did not break immersion because you had no time to think. Sounds was fucking A+ and it was the perfect length and difficulty.

DAMN awesome game.

The controls are very nice and the entire game feels like an early PS1 title, which I mean in a positive way. The audio helped with the atmosphere a lot and the enemies that turned invisible excluding the eyes were kind of terrifying. @jonrei basically summarized exactly what I'm missing in this game - a way to tell where my bullets go and a way to know how much health I have left. Other than that, nice entry!

Pretty fun, somehow the atmosphere reminded me a bit of hotline Miami, but in a retro 3d shooter style. Only problem I had was a bug where on the giant hippo level I must have got killed by it as I was dropping down to teh next level and then got stuck in a loading screen although I could still shoot and make sound FX. After it happened once, restarted, got to the same place and the same thing happened again, then bailed. Would have loved gamepad support personally. Graphics were minimal but did the job, music worked well for the atmosphere too. Pretty Solid.
