An Audiovisual Puzzle, use your ears and eyes to find out the truth, is the person guilty of murder?
This game was made for the Ludum Dare 48, it is my first game jam. Find the right path making 6 correct guesses in a row, use your ears and eyes to hear the difference in sounds and what is on the screen.
Use left mouse Button for everything. If you return to a previous choice you will have to start ove, this is in the game so you can play it longer listning to all the choices before restarting at the end and trying your path.

Great game idea! Both the art style and music are amazing.
I still didn't know how to choose all the correct answers.
My only two complaints are:
1. As I am not a native English speaker, it was sometimes hard to read the freehand drawing text, but I managed.
2. The game does not close after pressing Escape. Alt + F4 was needed :)

Wow! What a unique game! Really nice presentation and an intriguing setup. It really captured the experience of delving deep into someone's mind.
Some of the text was a bit hard to read because it got clipped by the screen and I wish there were a few more clues about the correct choice, but maybe there were clues and I just missed them.

I did my best to listen for audio clues for to find some hint but I couldn't differentiate between
correct and incorrect so I couldn't figure out how to narrow down how close I was getting to the correct path. Pretty visuals, interesting idea and really nice ambiance but I would have liked a little more direction

Definitely interesting and artful design went into this one. I couldn't really figure out what I was supposed to be doing though. All of the little hints didn't really seem to indicate a connection, just a general broad incident where someone was killed? I listened for audio cues but couldn't pick up anything there either. Loved the style, visuals, and effects though!

I am going to start by saying that I had no idea how to get the right answers the entire time... yet I was totally engaged and enjoyed it. Despite not knowing the objective, I felt compelled to continue and try to figure it out. I think this can be attributed to the great atmosphere, UX, and premise. Solid work, though I would have like a bit more guidance so I could understand more of what I was looking for.

Very pleasant experience. I like the gameplay idea, although I struggled with finding the right answers. (But I suppose that is the game). The combination of sound and color/graphics make this a solid entry. Good job.

Wow, great entry! Art style is really nice, and sound and music are very cool too. I couldn't manage to get the correct answers, even though I read the clues and previous comments. I just cannot see any connection between them. I guess I'm a bad mind hunter. I would love to see the ending.

The first game jam can be a little intimidating but you can be very proud of yourself and the game you made. I love the look of the game and I think there is a little BlackThornProd inspiration in there :smirk:

@fictions Thank you alot! The fun thing is i always done my art like this, and then i found Blackthorn Prod just a year ago and ofc fell in love with his art! Ofc i am inspired by him! but this is actually me, but it might be some inspiration blending in! Its a really nice compliment to compare me with Blackthorn!

Well done for making a very pretty and intriguing game! I'm glad I came across it.
I suppose like trying to actually understand the mind of a murderer, it's difficult. I spent a couple of minutes trying combinations and listening for audio cue differences. Like all puzzles, sometimes it just clicks, sometimes it doesn't.
Perhaps it's the best use of the theme because not only is it original but also too deep? :wink:

Really cool visuals and plot/story. It was unclear to me if I had won or lost at the final button. I would have liked more feedback on my progress, since losing means you have to reexamine every single level even if only one was wrong. Great work.

I had no idea what I was doing. I wanted to like this a lot more because it's a cool concept, but there needed to be a tutorial or more instruction. I didn't even know what I was looking for. Was the music? It changed, but I couldn't tell if what I was doing changed it.

I saw this game and immediately wanted to play it. Love puzzles and mysteries! The visuals are also very beautiful and the sounds, while I enjoyed them, I don't think they are fitting the mood of the game much. But that's the only thing I would change. I'm just a little sad because I couldn't find the right answer to the puzzle. Please tell me what it is hahahah

Wow that's so interesting ! I haven't found the solution yet, I'll come back when I have time to finish it ! The concept is quite new, and the graphics work really well with the sound to convey the ambiance. That's amazing job !
