Westest Showdown
After a long day on the road looking for a place to rest, you find an alluring sign of a bar. When you step inside you notice something is off and there is no bar to be seen. You keep going, deeper and deeper until you hear faint voices. Is it the bar? or is there something else lurking?.
Fight hordes of monsters in this cursed cave and try to survive as long as possible!
After each wave you'll get some *help* from an unknown source. Careful! Not all boons have an immediate result.
Instructions
- Use "WASD" keys to move.- "Left mouse button" to shoot.
- "Right mouse button" to aim.
- "Space bar" to jump.
- "R" to reload.
- "Q" or "E" to change between weapons
- "CTRL" or "C" to crouch
- If you are stuck you can press "P" (Kills the character)
- You can also pause and reset the game with "ESC"

Install instructions
1. Unzip the folder2. Open the unzipped folder
3. Open the file named "LD48.exe"

Really fun and smooth game play. Also looks great. I had one issue were it crashed every time I tried to upgrade the shotgun. Other than that great game.

Could be improved:
* change zipname to your game-name, otherwise you are not able to find it on your harddrive
* many collision volume issues, I thought I was able to reach some areas while the collision volumes did not let me, like the area where you collect upgrades
* Missing out of ammo sound, click ...click
* Framerate problems on my PC (Radeon 380X, 1440p), please add options
* Collection/Pickup feedback sound missing
* BLOCKER in Rd. 2, could not find ammunition to defeat the last remaining enemy.
* Thumbs up for BGM, but the music get's annoying quite quickly.

Good job on this game. The graphics were good and the gameplay was interesting. I would suggest adding a way to get more ammo though, unless I missed that.

@bender-biber, @oc1d, @matterlinx now the pickups give more ammo.
@ahspike we just fixed the crash with the shotgun upgrade. It seems like it was crashing when a shotgun upgrade was pick before the shotgun was used.
@oc1d we also fixed the powerup sound effect, there was a problem when packaging the game. We also changed the name of the zip folder.

I like the art and the music in the game, and it gets pretty hectic as it progresses. However, I encountered a collision glitch near the tavern, happens when a bunch of enemies swarm the player and he goes off the map.

That is for sure a big game for 72h jam even many assets were used. Great work hope you had fun to work toghether.
If you are in the game and press Esc to pause the game, you have to click one time to be able to do anything. If you code with blueprints, you can take the "set Input Mode UI only" Node to avoid this.

Nice game, I got a tier 2 damage upgrade and unfortunately did not really feel a difference. Overall it was pretty fun and the sounds were great!
the game controlls feel good and the level is nicely assembled. I would suggest adding more ammo the level or respawn at some point I had to let the enemies kill me cause there was no ammo left...
