What's Under Base 69?

Lol I had a good time with this. At first I was wondering if it was gonna be fish all the way down then I got to the Cthulhu spawn and I had a good laugh. I can only imagine what the full experience of this would have been like. Also I absolutely love hearing the handmade sound effects like the helicopter blades spinning being what sounded to my ears like a trilled B sound (trills in this case not referring to music but to the phonetic definition like rolling R's). Also love your floating islands leaflet.

Very nice game. It really is on the shorter side, but it still gives you a decent experience.

Would've been nice to hve a tad more agency on the way up, but was still entertaining.

The dancing in the helicopter was the absolute best part. I wanted to see more dancing or character postures of that caliber :)

The spacebar interactions were nice, but didn't need to last for so long -- 2 or 3 seconds is plenty. 15 seconds of spacebar mashing is not particularly fun.

Ahaha this was a good experience. The sound was top notch and I liked the bits of 'fun' you threw in there, (i.e. dancing in the helicopter when told the controls)
Like the person above said, the spacebar mash was a bit painfully long, but overall I enjoyed my time.

I liked this a lot! At the end of the day, the gameplay was pretty limited, but the ambiance and mood were great. I really liked all the cut scenes; they do a good job of establishing the 'plot' of the game which few LD entries ever accomplish. It makes me want to see more of this game! Great job

Great intro, great transition, and impressive cinematic effects. The button mashing was a great touch.

I really loved the hand drawn graphical style and the sound effects were amazing. The ending cinematic was top tier. The gameplay was a bit lacking as you already know but it was still a great entry.

I like the beginning of the game very much. It is very cute and vivid, but at the end it puzzles me. It feels a little regretful to stop abruptly.

Great humor and presentation - very short, but you can see that there is a lot of effort in it.
Visual style is likeable and the sound great.
Very good game, I think you got the best rating of all games I tested so far!

ok so the screenshot are very misleading because the animation is great in this. very fluid, the music creates just the right feeling and man the end... not going to spoil it so just give it a try
