First of all you need to know: This time, we decided not to create a usual "Game" as you might expect. This time, we created a community-game for streamers on twitch!
Bomjunity is a game, which is run on the streamers computer and every viewer can join into the game using an interactive twitch extension. So the community can play a bomberman-like game together.
Sounds strange? You would expect bomberman to be a game thats relies on fast reactions? You are right - for common games! Our approach is a round-based game system where every player inputs their next action and then all characters on the stream act at the same time. Bombs get invisible after one tick and explode depending on their type after a fixed number of ticks or when a palyer gets too near.
Basically the gameplay is aligned with a standard bomberman game: Players can move, playce bombs, there are powerups and after some time the arena gets UNSTABLE and the floor is "cracking up". Also ANY object in the game can be blown up int one or ther other way.

We know that it might be hard to review an on-stream-game - especially as it is a multiplayer game (and the bots are about as intelligent as the bombs themselves) but you can have a look at our "Test-Stream" if you want. For now, this is the only option to play the game. (If the stream is down, try again a few hours later)
