How To Play

Left mouse button, space, or enter to buy & sell.

If you're not on the track when you do, you get the 'slipped price' penalty.

When you're holding a position, it's indicated by a pink line.

Sell above that line to earn profit. The higher above it you are, the more profit you generate.

You can also sell at a loss to open a more profitable position later. I'd recommend getting as close to the line as you can when you do.

There are actually a few strategies you can use.

alright you've convinced me to open a coinbase account, good marketing. very engaging and realistic simulation except my account keeps ending up green which is very unusual. I would complain that the slip penalties were a little punishing when you're just barely off the line, but the markets don't care about my feelings.

Hilarious concept, great execution. I found this game a lot of fun to play, the sound effects do a lot for it. It certainly had moments where I got smacked by the penalty when I was sure I was on the line, usually when I cam down like a rock and bounced off a peak. I love that you get a boost when buying, it makes it a lot more dynamic then just following the track. Overall very fun I enjoyed this game a lot!

Super fun, buy low sell high. I really like the risk reward that's baked into the game. Like @smilewood said, the sound effects really sell the whole game!

I'm glad you guys like the sound effects! I spent probably way too long trying to synthesize/layer a nice cha-ching sound in Renoise lol

I included the XRNS for any Renoise users curious on how I did it, just make sure you have Synth1 installed - I needed FM synth for the bell

Might be just me, but the price always goes down eventually ... and I think that is quite close to reality so I guess that is intended.

Good and inovative game, good work. . Averagly fit into the theme.. Average fun game, but maybe next time you will polish the gameplay and it will be better. Art is not good, try harder next time.

One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will aperceite very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)

This feels like if Line Rider and r/WSB had a baby, and I mean that in the best possible way. This is one of the best interpretations of the theme I've seen so far, and its easy-to-pick-up-hard-to-master mechanics give it really good replay value. I don't really have any major points of critique. This was very well executed.

Solid difficulty level and a lot of fun :) Good take on the theme (and cool use of procedural generation too - I'm guessing its some sort of perlin noise type thing?) Would be nice to show your highest score on screen so you can try to beat it (since the game over screen just shows your score for that try I think). Good job :D

Great game! I actually want to play this again and again. And it feels like real trading too. You can make short investments for low safe profit, or you can go for a long run, with the risk of going down. Very fun game indeed! Good job!

just made over 800k! that was a thrilling ride! it was all intuitive and it played really well. the push of buying is really gripping the player to their seat. good fun ride :thumbsup:

Very creative take on both the theme and the runner genre. It like that you actually added a leaderboard to the post-jam version (got the #8 place there), and that the track is consistent (so it's a fair competition).

I agree that cryptocurrency trading is a nice way of earning money nowadays but you need to be rather careful while choosing anything for it. For example, I work with this Bitcoineer IO official service and I'm completely satisfied with them, you can find something similar as well. Hope that you will be able to do it.
