DRILL was made in 72 hours for the Ludum Dare 49 Game Jam.
All the art, sounds and code were made by us in 72 hours.
ABOUT
DRILL is a survival tower defense type of game.
You have a big drill in the middle and incoming aliens are trying to stop you from digging up their precious natural resources.
STORY
Gas prices are at an all time high.
You're an astronaut that was fed up with the unstable oil prices back on earth.
You set off to space to find a planet with cheaper oil, even if that means you have to dig it up yourself.
On your quest to find oil you find planet "Xargnorlb", a distant planet far away from earth.
Instead of oil, what you found was way more groundbreaking. A power source far beyond anything you know on earth!
Mine it, all of it!
..but what are these blue things? They want MY drill!
CONTROLS
- W, A, S, D for movement. Standard stuff.
BUILD PHASE
- F while in Build Phase to skip to the Battle Phase.
- Scroll wheel or numbers 1 - 9 to select building slots 1 - 9.
- Click to place selected building OR chop down trees with Hands selected.
BATTLE PHASE
- Click to shoot towards mouse cursor.
