Blurb

The wasteland, filled with wonders of ages past, a place in which creatures and mutated beings dwell.

And in this place? The worlds last hope for a good meal: MELTDOWN PIZZERIA.

You are a new hire, lured in by the marketing of "becoming a super ~~radio~~ACTIVE person!", with a "High turnover - strictly due to promotions!". Although the job description didn't mention anything about the customers... or rather - customer, apparently they neglected to mention that the cooling tower that was once a part of the nuclear facility mutated into sentience... with a hunger for Pizza.

Game Goals

Fill the orders for your customers as they appear, you will be graded and scored accordingly, keep an eye on the *unstable* reactor, if it sits at critical for too long, catastrophic fission based explosions are bound to occur (game over).

Controls

Movement: W/A/S/D, or Arrow Keys
Interact: "E" for Items, and "F" for Machines.

Interactions in game

You can use the "E" key to pick up pizza bases, and toppings, and use the "E" key to place those items down on the counters. Placing toppings onto a pizza base will add it to that pizza.
Management came down hard on everyone, so no more than 5 pizza bases can be present in the pizzeria at a time, to create more, simply press and hold "F" while standing at the mixer and sheeter.
Should the reactor start giving off to much radiation, you can activate the control rods by walking up to it and pressing the "F" key, however, this will also turn off the equipment - leaving you unable to cook those delicious pizzas!

Bugs & Etc

This was built in a new engine I've never used before, so there might be a few minor vermin that were missed, especially with how rushed and little time there was :).

Apologies for the light content, ran out of development time:

Items missing:

- Menus
- Level Select (Multiple Levels, including boss style combat)
- Ingredient Preparation Minigames (slicing, dicing, etc.)
- Proper end game/level goals
- Music
- Multiplayer (A pipe dream in a completely new engine XD)

Leaving players with a scuffed version of a game similar to Overcooked.

Scope was fine this time around, but I was a fool:

Hearing the changes coming to my application of choice (Unity), I foolishly decided to attempt this jam using a completely different engine that I've never touched at all before... this added exponentially more development time for the simplest things... Godot works in similar, yet very different ways to Unity... It took me more than 4hrs searching and testing just to get UI elements in the 3D world (and I ended up using a hacky bypass to do it in the end).

I do intend to continue using Godot, however, as I slowly became more comfortable with the application by this final day. It is nice and lightweight, and best of all - open source.

All art, etc. seen in game has been hand crafted over the last 3 days by myself :).
