You are the manager of a brand new Atmospheric Engine, the first steam engine ever made! Use it to pump water out of the unstable mine below you to prevent its collapse

The Atmospheric engine is not a simple thing, it must be treated correctly. Place coal in the boiler to create steam that you then let into the cylinder. When the cylinder is orange it is full of steam and is ready to be cooled down (using the coolant water that you will have to periodically refill), creating a vacuum that will pull the piston down. Repeat this until you or the poor miners below you's death please.

Here's the programmer art I managed to create this time and images explaining the UI and operation of the engine:

Controls:
All mouse, click stuff to pick it up or to toggle it. You can press M to mute the music though.

Had a lot less time this weekend than anticipated but I still managed to throw this barebones version of the game I had envisioned together. It's a lot less fleshed out and polished than my two previous ones but I'm still happy I "finished" it and I certainly learnt a lot. Basing my game on a diagram of a steam engine was certainly an interesting idea and one I might explore more properly some day in the future. Please do tell me what you think, even though I already know much of what it's lacking and where its faults lie it is always helpful to hear someone elses perspective.
