Theory of Chaos is a game about a *very* unstable country. Instead of leading a revolution, or playing the rebels, this game suggests you spend this protest in the authorities' boots.

This game is a satire of some events that may or may not have actually happened, and encourages players to develop critical thinking about how protests are handled in their country. We tried not to biased for or against protesters or policemen. !

Use WASD or click&drag the mouse to move the camera, and click on approaching protesters to give them baton blow. You can also fire rubber balls to disperse the crowd. But be careful ! Or the country's chaos (top bar) will increase ! Keep your squads away from exhaustion to make the chaos decrease faster. Try and find the right balance to contain the protest !

Sorry guys... The web version seems to have an issue and is stuck loading. Does anyone have encountered and fixed this issue ?

:) Very fun! I love the concept! Nice dialog. Great art! Nice sounds, good music! Easy-to-understand HUD indicators. Fun to play!

The Windows version works fine!

I really like this game! The concept is interesting, a nice little satire from the whole game design down to the details as the Number of Protesters. Graphics are on point: a coherent style and with a lot of detail. The only drawback is the lack of any victory condition or point system? Or maybe I didn't notice it. Great job!

Fun game, and I really enjoyed the funny lines. The camera movement is a bit jarring and gets annoying after a while, but the gameplay is simple and entertaining. Good work!

Player settings –> Publishing settings –> Compression Format –> Disabled

I like the art! Especially the skull icons. The character sprites are cute, too. I had a little trouble figuring out what to do, but got it in the end. Nice touches with the protester dialogue ticker feed.

Mhh, i think its not a game i personally really like. I liked the lines at the top left.
The quit button doesnt work in the Windows build :D

@caerind @bklolo you have the classic compression bug in your web build. You need to set the compression method to disabled and rebuild (sometimes gzip works, but not for everyone) https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/webgl-deploying.html anon also gave a tip two comments up

Gosh darn it! The one time I choose to be authoritarian I don't even get to kill a single person!

Didn't feel like there was any incentive for dispersing crowds. At one point I walked away from the computer for a few minutes and came back with the situation about as stable as before. A broken bones counter and a pressing need for action should be added. Standing in a line and catching debris all day is simply boring.
