Part Chess, part Sokoban... it's Topplecrown! Push blocks to shift the battlefield to your advantage, outwit the AI, and snag the opposing king. Features 9 puzzles with 3 difficulty levels each. Reach the end and see just how *unstable* your footing can get.
This was a weird Ludum Dare for me, even by Ludum Dare standards! My first time going for an actual AI opponent, and it went okay. I only lost 3 hours to debugging its suicidal behavior, and that was me getting off easy. No HTML5 version for now, until I figure out the thread issues I've been having with the aforementioned AI. Sorry!
Done in Unity/C#, with the help of Photoshop, Illustrator, Blender, FL Studio, and Audacity.
* Fonts are Balgruf by Paul Miller and Grenze by Renata Polastri.
* Audio samples from timmy_h123, Robinhood76, msavioti, and abcmaxofficial.
* Known issue: "Bridge" will only look like you beat it on Easy. If you believe you, I believe you.
* Check out my other projects here!
The latest release on Github features some improvements that I detail there. If you're looking for the deadline build, check out 0.1.
