Its a shame that it abruptly ends, its quite original and I wanted to keep playing The UI is a bit confusing when you consider that your only options really are buy and sell. I think for future projects you should try and prioritize better what goes into the final product. The social media stuff adds almost nothing to the gameplay or mood. The humor though... on point. I'd watch a crypto mockumentary with you as the director.

It was confusing at first (Probably because I have never done trading lol) but I liked the overall experience.

Really love the fact that it's almost a serious game and could have a real teaching value if it was just a bit more polished.
i would have love some graphs to feel even more like a crypto bro and a stonk master. It was hard to follow if the tweets had any influence on the price or even how much money I was winning or losing exactly.

Always fun to see games that explore the crypto experience. I made a clicker a while back that explored how the market reacts to tasty crypto memes so can relate. The bored ape social commentary was my favourite part of this. Very creative!

First game to make me laugh out loud. Several times.

Love the fact that liking or disliking social media posts affects portfolio value. Or do they? Either way, I love it. The fact that I don't know if there's anything I can do to affect the value just makes it even more striking and funny. 10/10.

Music fits weirdly perfectly.

My only gripes:
- I wish there was a faster way to buy/sell with buttons instead of having to type with the keyboard
- I wish the UI scaled better, there's lots of empty space yet text is super small.

Overall, very nicely done!

I think it's really cool that you made a game with this message. I enjoyed it a lot! The premise matches the theme of the jam so well. It was cool that people had common sense reactions to my actions.

@neitri in all seriousness, we ran into a lot of problems balancing the stats. It's the first management sim we've ever made so there's a lot of rough edges (before, there were even actions you could take before to manage hype, suspicions and risk more directly, but we decided to take it out and focus more on the "twitter" side of the game)

That said, it's supposed to feel quite a bit random (just like real life :smile:)

In management/number-based games like this it would be nice to have some feel of feedback when you're doing stuff. (For example a picture / animation when a major event occurs, sound effects etc.)

The social media-feed with its snarky comments did its job here in that aspect though. It's a nice element and could surely be improved further.

This game was actually quite fun and addictive, I kept trying to beat my highscore (which was 700k btw~). Would've been nice to see a highscore tracker in the game too!

My dad told me how grandpa used to play and take all the valuables out of the house to win back at the casino. But dad himself never tried to play, it was always taboo for him. Great game, it was an immersive simulator! I really liked how simple it was, yet complex at the same time; it was easy enough to invest my money and like tweets, but I imagine there was a lot more calculation going on under the hood which led to some nice volatility in gameplay. The twitter feed was a great addition as well, I loved all the dialogue and interactions between accounts (especially when I disliked something and was mobbed by about a dozen people), and the profile pictures were (worryingly) accurate too. It was a great experience playing the market like this, so nice work on getting the game made!
