Explore to find as many logs as you can so you can keep the fire going for as long as possible.
Controls: WASD or Arrow Keys for movement. Walk over logs to pick them up, then walk to the fire to put the logs in. You can hold up to three logs. The fire is always slowly burning out. You also have a torch, you can use this torch to bring the light with you as you travel around. Don't let it go out though, you don't want to be left in the dark!
The slow movement speed really tests my impatience ;) After finding like 5 logs it seemingly become impossible to find more, I walked all the way down and there wasn't a single log. The art style and sound are lovely I have to say
I like the atmosphere and art here. The field of view effect works really well at obscuring the items in the distance. I do wish I could interact with more in the environment, like the mushrooms or gold. My high score was 260 seconds with 14 logs.
I agree with the movement speed, I think it's actually a bug. In testing you moved every so slightly faster. I updated the speed, changed the friction from 0.9 to 0.93. It should feel a lot better now!
The game definitely had some nice atmosphere with the audio design. I think the movement is a bit too slow. Maybe being able to move quickly, but then slowing down when carrying logs would spice things up, along with a longer torch to allow for more exploration to scout out logs before grabbing them.
