I Love the da and the sound, but the ui is'nt really clear

The game have a really nice aesthetic, bags are however quite hard to avoid since they fall really fast

The art is amazing, but the controls feel "slippery".

Looks and sounds really nice, and it feels like you're making progress as you get further. It is kind of difficult to avoid the bags though since the controls mostly send you to one side of the screen or the other. But hey, it'd probably be difficult to control your direction if you were falling from the sky with an umbrella!

The art is beautiful! I love the style. I had an idea for a similar falling game, but we went a different direction. Still, I love what you did with the theme. Nice work.

Agree with the other commenters about the art - its very unique and fits well.

The gameplay is a bit too simple for my taste - maybe a bit of directional control up- and downwards would be nice. Or maybe have the player fall a bit faster if the umberella is damaged.

The floatiness of the controls were actually really fitting i think but i would have made the edges of the screen be connected (as in when you leave to the left you come back in from the right).

The art and music are great and very polished of course!

The game looks and sounds great! I like the umbrella's progression to destruction as you get hit. Very silly and I liked it!

Nice entry, I liked the unusual art style of the game, it works really well. I managed to reached the night phase. Some sound effects could have been a nice final touch. Thnaks for this game !

Fun little game, i loved it!

The game looks good. The music fits as well. Only it seems a bit monotonous after a while. It would be nice if you could also control a little bit vertically. There could also be more baggage falling down after a while.

juego simple y bueno, buen arte y soundtrack

La dinamica es simple y adictiva. El arte es bonito, enfocarse en el personaje es sencillo y el fondo no opaca con el personaje o el paraguas. Los controles a veces se sienten un poco "slippery", pero eso no evita que se pueda jugar. A veces el equipaje cae muy rapido incluso desde el inicio. Creo que la dificultad esta bien que no sea super facil pero deberia volverse gradualemtne mas dificil a medida que avanza el juego. Tambien estaria bueno que los parches que se puedan usar para arreglar el paraguas sean un poco mas grandes o de un color mas brillante ya que en pocos casos es mas dificil verlos con el fondo de noche. Por ultimo solo decir que el juego cumple con el cometido de ser simple pero adictivo. Como dije, el arte es muy bonito, la dinamica es concreta y eficaz. Le dy 4/5 estrellas (considerando si tuviera que darle un puntaje.

Mi mejor score fue 522 jeje

Great artwork and nice and fun game!

Really cute game, I got to 169. The art was really cute and well made. The music was also really good and added to the atmosphere a lot. Sometimes the debris felt a bit too fast to dodge but it was still really fun to play! It's simple but that made it really intuitive and easy to play. Overall a great game, good job!

Loved the art style and music! The gameplay felt pretty simple but the art and music more kept me engaged. Really unique submission too!

Really artsy! I love the intro and that the background changes over time. The controls felt a little slippery, and although it reminds me of wind, I feel it might feel better to play with slightly less slipper movements. I think I would also have liked the difficulty scaling to be a little faster. The art combined with the music feel really high quality. Solid entry overall!

Great execution of a simple idea! My favorite part was the attention to details, such as the umbrella that deteriorates the more you get it, and the sense of speed that increases.

Strengths:
- Beautiful graphics. The plane at the start is very impressive.
- A simple idea, brilliantly executed. You can start playing the game immediately
- Good difficulty balance, you can actually see a lot of the game on your first playthrough

Possible improvements:
- Hitboxes are a bit wonky sometimes.

great concept for this theme :) the music was really fitting and the graphics were really good. I loved the handpainted sprite of the player. It's deceivingly difficult, but I managed to stay alive for 148 seconds :D

I like how the background changes as I fall so there's a feeling of progression. Although it does make me wonder if there's an end to it? I survived for 446 seconds but no sign I might hit the ground safely any time soon.

Good graphics and music. But the game resolution is not suitable for 16:9 monitors

The art style is absolutely beautiful and the music fits the mood perfectly! I especially liked the intro and the detail put into the background! I was a little disappointed to see the seam in the background once I made it far enough for the background to repeat, but that's just me nit-picking and I'm guessing you didn't expect people to make it far enough to see that :)

I did find it a bit too easy mainly because I would just stay on one side of the screen and then shift to the other side when some luggage was about to hit me. One idea could be to not lock the player within the camera bounds, and if the player leaves the camera bounds they lose instantly. This way the player has to try to "balance" between left/right to stay on screen while avoiding the luggage.

That being said, I really enjoyed this and it was a solid entry overall!! Great work!!!

Survived for 460 seconds..(wanna know if there is an actual ending that he got survived lol). Love the music and the feeling that physics setting created! It will be greater if the difficulty increases more in the late game :)

I liked it! Looked and sounded very nice, just wish the music looped seamlessly. The high tempo strings against the calmer melody represented the game very well. How come you've opted out of the audio and graphics categories? Did you not make them for the jam? Good choices that fit nicely anyway! 😌 I got pretty far by just hugging one side at a time until a bag finally fell there, might be worth fine-tuning. Is there an end to the game? I noticed the sky kept changing behind me and I thought I was reaching the ground but saw a moon emerge from the blue just before I died, so I guess it's just a day-night cycle? So that's the inevitability of it, I take it? 😗 Neat game!!

Thank you for the review! Yes, the art and music is entirely original, we're working on the dificculty and the music loop. The game was conceived as an endless runner (or "delay your death"), but we are thinking of expanding the game in many ways!

I got to 121, great fitting music (I like how it shifts into different phases), but as others have said before, very slippery controls. I think a decreasing power bar for the umbrella would have made more sense than changing colors. I wished I could also move up and down. Different stages would be good, introducing new enemies (like birds coming from the sides).
