I had graphic glitches all the time on firefox.

I tested on chrome and everything works fine there, so it must be something with firefox. I had similar problem with one of my game. Its nice to add info like "recommended to play on Chrome" on itch. Anyway i had a lot of fun :)

It was a cool surprise when the attackers won, and then replaced the defenders and it just started all over! Very cool!

Nice work, super clean too. You all did a good job keeping the various 2D/3D/sound/music fit together.

Really nice looking game! Interesting mechanic about switching around the archer and the cannon. With some upgrades and maybe some more weapons to swap between this could a really cool full game. Good job!

Switching the team at the end of the round is a wonderful idea instead of having a screen proposing to player another one.

Graphics, sounds and humor magnifies it all, well done !

The graphics, animation and sound are the things that stands out most in this game. The game feels rather fun to look at, although the gameplay is very simplistic. Everyone else has already mentioned this, but the idea of having the castle switch colors upon defeat is really clever!

Ahh, that's a nifty take on the tower defense genre for sure, the gameplay is a bit simple, but also easy to understand, the art style is cute and the music and sounds play into the production to make it feel finished. A good entry all in all! Cheerz!

Honestly, for this being a one button control game this is one of the most fun ones I've played this jam. Just the sheer happiness of blasting an oncoming flock of soldiers to pieces by pressing space is something few games have managed to get out of me. The artstyle and sound design were on point as well. Top shelf quality product.

It's amazing how strategic this is with only one button. You really start to plan how to reach higher scores by just choosing the side of your cannon and archer. The art is so funny and the restart is such a nice touch, but the gameplay. So original.

I really dig the art style and the atmosphere. As previous reviewers stated - I haven't played a game where I feel so stressed but I only have to press one button - was a super cool experience.
I would have liked to have some boosters to be able to bypass one or two times the most intense moments when the random generator spawns too much enemies at once. Anyways - this is just a game jam and the game is solid the way it is :v: Keep up the good work!

So good, so simple, so effective. Lovely art! The enemies running in at the end belongs on r/oddlysatisfying

My only complaint is that it's a little too simple in its mechanics, as in the optimum strategy is just to play over and over until the enemies neatly spawn in hoards on the side of the cannon, and spread apart on the side of the archer.

Love the switch of the city to the invading force's colours. Such a neat way of implementing the replay. Also means it's very easy to keep going on for ages without stopping :D

This is a fun little game, simple concept but executed really well. It was only until I saw the ship that I noticed that it's 3D. :D The style reminds me of pixeljunk monsters. The little effects make the game come alive. Good job!

Love the enemies and animations! I wish the were some more strategy involved - e.g. armored enemies that can be only destroyed with the cannon or flying enemies that can be only destroyed w the archer. I also really liked the twist where they go inside and the flag changes the color :smile:

Great entry! The mechanic is genius in its simplicity and the art complements it highly. I really like it. I would just suggest making the difficulty curve less steep, because the game goes from easy to impossible in a matter of seconds. My highscore is 479 :)
