This was fun! I like the retro computer vibe to the graphics. The game is basic, but fun and interesting. True, you can stand outside the circle and just not get hit if your really want to delay the inevitable. But I like the dynamics of the game when played authentically. Turn this into a dodgeball game and I'd play the crap out of it! :laughing:

First thing I did was run off the edge and fall for several minutes...I thought maybe that was the secret trick to surviving in the game 😁

Really liked the graphics, too!

game is bugged. Went of the edge and had to use task manager to get out. Needs some work

A simple game, but nice graphics & shader play! It was a bit too easy just to stand outside of the circle tho - a bit of a wall would have been good. :smile:

Fun concept ! Has mentionned you can just jump off the edge though, also game didn't load for me when pressing play after opening the manual, I had to restart it

@lilianc also hiding the manual would work :P I only noticed later that manual covers the play button. I could fix it but I want the game to stay the way I made it, at least until the end of rating.

Nice, finally a UE game :D (Why is this engine so neglected during fame jams?) I really liked the basic concept and I feel like if it was a few hours work, you did such an amazing job! It was fun and challenging but - as some people mentioned - there sould be something implemented to not make the player stay outside the circle all the time. I feel like a wall is not the best solution unless the circle is made bigger, I'd rather add something like an outside timer (let s say 3 seconds) after which you loose for standing outside a circle. But besides that, super cool entry, I had fun!

@ehon Thank you. I really only spent a few hours on the game. UE is my favorite engine :)
And I know, I could just add walls but that would make the game much uglier. I was thinking of some other ideas like you mentioned, but that would take extra time to make properly and I just didn't have that.

So for now, I just hope that the player will be honest and stay inside the play area.

Not much to say except that you don't even have to jump off the side, just go outside the ring and live forever, lol. I can see that you've acknowledged this, but I was a little thrown off by the manual, which really hypes it up like it's going to be hard. I also encountered framerate issues which get worse as the number of bullets increased, although I played it on a laptop, so that could be why. I love the visuals, though, very stylish.

It's very simple, but the visuals add something unique to it! Unfortunately it lagged hard on my non-gaming computer, so I couldn't really get a feel of the difficulty or controls :/

Simple but fun game! I find it interesting the fact that the camera view is not wide enough to be able to see bullets coming from all the points at the same time, so you have to move it a little while playing (or at least that's the way I got to survive longer). Good looking lighting effects. With leaderboards I would have played until scoring the first place X)

Simple concept - obviously still early in the prototype stage. Could turn out good with more development!

I like the music and the visuals is also pretty good. The gameplay is okay, but nothing super special. Overall a okay little compo game.

@ramil-dev that was the whole point. At first I had a top down view, but it made the game way too easy :)

The first thing I did was cheat it by moving out of the circle.
If you look past that and that you can fall forever its a decent entry.
Nice minimalist graphics and a chill theme in the background :)

I like the bright neon-y visuals as much as the next guy, but perhaps you should consider tone it down a little bit :D it hurt my eyes :D Other than that add a barrier so the player can't leave the arena, some screen shakes and it will be a nice entry :) good job!

Very nice visuals, I liked the audio as well. Great concept and execution, I'd agree that the game would benefit from a world border such that the inevitable isn't infinitely delayed. Very fun though, well done!

This game is splendid! But it clashes a lot with the very barebones menu, and the fact that you can just cheat / fall off is kinda sad. Especially since you have to Alt+F4 when you do fall down. Still pretty fun, keep giving it your all!

Good job for a few hours of work. Respects the theme well. Although the gameplay isn't anything special the music and visuals are quite nice. Like others have mentioned the gameplay area should have borders.
