My fav part of the game was jellyfish acceleration. I think the jelly fish blended in with the background too much so maybe add an outline. Also make the shark faster *evil smile*

I loved its little emoticon face, that was a really nice touch. Overall, it's really cute, and a well made submission. Nice work! :-]

Charging your boost is like F-Zero which is a strictly good and fun thing. Thanks for this.

Couldn't really get the hang of the controls, but the game looks real nice!

A lot more fun than I was expecting for such a simple game! Really wanted to keep trying to get further and further, I love that exploration of mechanics! Maybe I just didn't make it far enough but having the entire game on just one edge of the screen feels kinda weird though. Overall though, pretty good stuff!

@nicmagnier it is just a perlin noise based material on a plane surface! and the jelly is just half a sphere with the same material

Really fun idea! Meets the theme of the jam incredibly well, and his little emoji face was adorable.

I really like the graphics and sound here! I think it captures the chill ocean atmosphere well! The gameplay while simple was quite fun. It just felt a bit slow for my liking :). But I still enjoyed this game a lot. Good job!

@jandourek im glad you liked it :smile: the sounds are just a hookah blurp for the jellyfart and that same sound reverbed and slowed for the ocean! and the bite is just me biting a cucumber :sweat_smile: hop you had a chill time that was my whole intent a game wich ends only when you stop! and doesnt challenge so you just kill time

But very bored... It would be nice to add some obstacles or collectables, i think

The background was very nice I would have it as like a little pretty screensaver :D I feel like there could be more sound, but what was there was cute. The controls were too many though and also we couldn't figure out what some of them did. - MPGF (Mopi Girflfriend)

The gameplay was a little bland, but I think it has potential. The waves were super precise, which presents challenge, but the slow and clunky turning system prevented precision. Overall, good entry! it could just use some small adjustments to controls and readability in order to be a decently fun game :)

Big fan of the aesthetic, and love the jelly's face! Enjoyed playing around with the jet stream mechanic a bit and trying to use it more carefully.

I really liked the look of this! In all honesty I clicked on this exclusively because of the water texture :) Even so, the gameplay wasn't bad, and felt pretty smooth. I'm definitely interested to see the results if you plan to keep developing this game!

I love the cte jelly, but somehow I don't know how to escape from the shark since I have limited boost which seems not working, but I guess that's the theme for inevitable lmao. Nice Job!

This was really cute! I like how the eyes end up on the shark when the jellyfish is eaten. Stamina system to charge forward was good for some added depth. Managed to get 68K one round :grinning: It was definitely a very chill experience once you got a bit of a lead on the shark. Would have loved to see some fish friends swimming around too. The background looks great though, love the water effect!

- now its on html
- with a faster shark chasing right behind you
- and everything larger on screen.
- also made the turn rate a lot faster (4x) so players can follow the heat wave properly.

@otterfaelure thanks for playing my game you are the first one to play it after the HTML release and I hope you did play the html version :smile: I've actually never considered adding a face once you ditched the shark! thats a great idea. also hope you figured out how to just follow the hot water stream to go faster and had a fun time :smile:

Nice concept, the graphic is simple but mesmerizing. You could improve this game in the future by adding some more music or mechanics.

Oh, and by the way, I managed to score around 14.000 points. :D

This was really nice! The 'fastlane' could be a bit more clearly indicated but once you know how to speed up it is easy to understand and a lot of fun!

It seems that most of the critics I could make about the jam version were already addressed in the new html one. I liked the "organic" look, and loved the jellyfish emoticon faces. This was my score playing the html version:

(the jam version seems to be very hard to lose, I've even left the PC for a while to finish making coffee and it kept going past the 100k points)
