Behind The Scenes

Thanks to everyone who's played our ridiculous full-motion-video game!

We dedicated one of our living rooms to turn into a full filming setup. Thankfully we didn't have to buy most of the expensive things as we were able to borrow them from a friend who was out of town and couldn't participate in the filming (although they did end up making the music!). Basically the entirety of Saturday was dedicated to this, and while I did get some programming done that day, most of it had to be done in a mad rush on Sunday and Monday. All of the editing, too!

Here we are figuring out how to use the free trial of Adobe Premier to see if we were even going to be able to get the greenscreen working at all. None of us knew how to do this before the jam began after all. It's amazing how far you get get on free trials if you only have 3 days anyway, although I suppose next time we do this we'll have to pay up.

And finally, for the cat points, here's the little monster who kept waking me up every night, and who wouldn't let me take notes in peace. But we love her of course.

Anyway, most of the rest of this went down basically the same way as all of you. Learned alot, got some things right and alot of things I'd like to change, but overall I'm really happy with the final product! If you have an opinion on it, I'd love to hear so we can make something even better next time!
