I had alot of fun with this game! I got up past difficulty 33 with over 12000 points then got bored. I really like how the cats try to sabotage you. One thing I would add is the ability to see your best score.
Good art, good tune, I feel like the difficulty should scale faster maybe? Even with the cat weighing it down it still went down slowly enough to counteract it by clicking.

Very cute little game and I like the concept, very original take on the theme! I would agree that the difficulty needs to scale much more quickly, it didn't ever feel like winning was inevitable and it also didn't feel like I won since I stopped playing rather than losing. I think it could easily have been fixed with a higher difficulty and even if people dioe more quickly, I think they'll be more likely to play again to try and beat that score! However, of course there was probably no time for any play testing or balancing! The game seems to be bug free and does exactly what you want it to which is exactly what you want for the compo!
The graphics were super cute and I love the cat! The mice were cute too and balloons adding more movement to the game giving it a more polished feel. I especially liked how dynamic the numbers felt with the random spread, colour change and fade out. You added a bit of story which was nice and felt made me feel more attached to the game since it was speakiung directly to me. Music fit the vibe and didn't get annoying which can easily happen from a loop although there did seem to be some gaps inbetween.
I played for well over 5 minutes and only got about 40,000 so your high score is amazing!
Overall, a really great entry! Well put together with a nice vibe, good take on the theme and looks cute! With a few minor balancing tweaks, would be a really addictive game! Can't wait to see the next one!
