THE LAST HOPE

Spent some time just watching the little dudes roam about and do their stuff. Not much of a game, but fun concept. Small irrelevant bug report: the score keeps going up even when the game is paused for upgrades. Very chill, good job

I love the feeling of it and he animations and units are super cute. Doesnt really require much work, but I kinda just like watching the dudes go about their town, slowly racking up kills. Great little piece of game

@scrawny yes it's more than a concept like i writed on the page, i enjoy you appreciate this little thing ! (and yes for score, i need to patch it). (I'll submitted it because I'm open to suggestion and opinion ^^).

This was a nice game. I liked the progression from being slow and relaxing at the start, to completely overwhelming at the end.
Figuring out how to play was fairly straight forward, but some instructions on what the different stats do wouldn't hurt. I guess the crown icon above some characters means that they have "leveled up" and are more powerful?

The character art was really nice, but the environment could have been a bit more fleshed out.
Keeping with the solid shapes that you have (which I like, by the way). I think the feeling of perspective would be better if you made the shapes less round, and more aligned with the horizontal direction. Kind of like this:

Kudos on making a game with android support by the way. I could see myself enjoying something like this on my phone.

@vidarn Thanks, i appreciate your comment. Yes basically the graphics was only my placeholder, so i've not work longer on it. This is pretty pretty unfinished but i would want to propose it to have feedback about this kind of "game". And yes the crown on character is when he reach a significative level. Thanks for playing it!

I couldn't figure out how to place anything. It just said "no place" and had an X on the screen. Clearly other people are smarter than I am and figured it out. Sorry!

@david-york if you play on windows, use the arrow key or WASD, you can also use the mouse click on and drag the house. On the android version, touch the house and drag it with your finger !

Okay thank you, that helped a lot. I had fun. Didn't have a strong sense of which soldier I should recruit but it was a good time.

This was fun, I think there's real potential in it. Some thoughts:

- The UI around upgrades could be a little more descriptive - it's not clear what the different stats do
- It would be cool to be able to click on units (friendly and enemy) to see their stats, HP etc.

@ghost-wave Thanks, for your comment. The different house give better attributes to the characters, for exemple basic repartition of attributes is 100%, with the House 2 this is 120%. This is pretty unfinished and need to be equilibrate but that's the idea. I currently work on a better version of the prototype to see what i can do with that. I think that can be release on itchio when it"s ready.

Sweet game. Really big, messy and not really intuitive interface. I wish there was music to keep players in!

Interesting idle game. Some bugs I found, I was able to place the houses outside the view :D, If I click W and hit on build fast enough it sometimes builds the house on the same place as the already existing house. I feel like I was too overpowered, since the Aliens never managed to attack my Crystal again. Would be cool if there were some upgrades to get more of the materials or a unit that farms these. Overall cool game!

@rhewid Thanks for your comment and bug report ! I enjoy you took a good time with it, i planned to correct this and add different constructions. The difficulty is not really adjusted its voluntary easy for a game jam test ^^.

Good and fun game, but I think there should be something like tutorial, because it's hard to understand what's the difference between different troop and house types.

Got a decent score, overall i really like the tower defense theme. The concept just fits well and the gameplay is really fun!

At first, I did not realize what I was supposed to do here, but after a while I understood the main game mechanics. You made a solid entry for a genre which I don't know very well - RTS. In less than a few days, your entry is good enough. With more time, you could create an interesting game. I would like a classic tutorial and music or sounds. Thank you for this entry. I wish you the best ++

I like the original houses and colors more than the new screenshot you posted above!

Played on Android. Please provide a link to the APK file directly so you can just download and install (can't unzip natively). For building houses I suggest a small UX modification: allow taps to set the location, instead of having to drag from the middle.

To be honest I didn't get the game. Do you just keep building houses anywhere and game plays itself? How did you unlock the other colors? I gave up after a few minutes since it seemed repetitive.

Nice job with the flighting mechanics and the Android version tough!
