This is a roguelike, in which the player does not control their attacks! It was made for the Ludum Dare 50 game jam in 72 hours.

Tutorial

This game turned out to be not so simple, so here are the instructions to guide you.

Movement

You control the blue circle using arrows and can only move in 4 directions by one cell at a time. Unlike the enemies, you can wrap around the borders to escape. In addition, you have an ultimate ability to teleport to a nearby location (by pressing Space and moving to the desired location) without consuming your move (but consuming the ability).

Attacks

You do not control your attacks! Instead, the game does it for you, so these actions are inevitable! You can see your attacks on the right indicated by a small grid with the player as a blue circle and red crosses as attack locations. Below the pattern there is a cooldown indicator that shows the next time you will perform this attack.

However, you have only one attack slot at the start of the game, but you can unlock others by collecting enough points. The required number is shown inside of the lock.

Enemies

Enemies are trying to kill you, and you will die from just touching them! The enemies spawn in the corners of the arena. Right before they spawn, a red mark is shown to indicate an enemy. Over time (or, rather, as you get higher score) more difficult enemies will spawn! Kill the enemies with your inevitable attacks.

Upgrades

Once you reach a new level (indicated on the left), you will get an opportunity to select an upgrade among three random ones. Select the desired upgrade with arrows and confirm with Enter.
