I like the little alien

High score of 198. Some of the randomly generated sections are incredibly difficult, while others are trivial. I think the difficulty needs a bit of tweaking, but overall it's fine. I really like the artwork. the green and purple color palette is nice! Great work.

Fun! Simple but well done for what it is. Graphics are fun, sound and music match well. The jump mechanic felt really satisfying, and the levels were surprisingly detailed for how simple-feeling the game was overall. The rate of the goo rise was a little bit too fast for me - I kept dying before it felt like I had played a "full" run through - which definitely fits with the theme, but was a little disappointing because I was genuinely enjoying bouncing around the level with the little alien dude. Nice work!

Agree with @100th-coin, sometimes the level generation is brutally hard, and other times its far to lenient. I was really close to beating that 198 high score but then got a really long horizontal corridor to run though 😭

Mechnically this is pretty good. Jumping is immediate and has good weight to it, and there is no weird corner issues with movement, or collider clipping stuff that I've encountered in other games.

Good submission overall.

My high score was 117! Really fun game! I like the concept and the platforming feels good. I agree that some of the sections feel longer than others, but it didn't kill me too many times and it was normally just missing a jump. I guess the issue is that some of them don't feel passable with the goo right behind you when you feel that if you played perfectly you should be allowed to continue. I had a tonne of fun playing, great job!

Way too hard for me but from the comments it seems like I'm just bad at video games :...( Nice platformer though, nice graphics (well composed even if they're not original), and fun experience overall! Nice work!

Looks like the difficult sections are designed to make inevitability a reality!
Nice game, small but polished. I enjoyed the repetitive elements that felt like learning was useful, also the exhausted alien face.

It's really cool game! Level design is well thought out, graphics are nice, music is well chosen, and mechanics like jumping and "stamina" are working pretty well.

Like others in comment section said - this game need some additional balancing (goo is too fast in my opinion).

Cute graphics and sound, and my kinda gameplay. But did feel there were unfair sections preventing me from getting far. Aesthetics maybe needed more consistency I think as well :). Nice one tho!

Nice game, its really hard levels, but for me its really fun

nice rising platformer. gameplay was smooth. a few glitches with getting stuck on the platform a couple times. thanks for making the game.
