This is one of the best games I've played so far! The art and sound is absolutely amazing, and the gameplay is simple enough to understand easily and fun enough to keep me playing. It's not particularly challenging, but I liked going for different endings. I went through three of them. Overall, you did a great job, especially on the visuals. (like always)

I like the artistic direction! I like the undertale like approach of choosing between violence and friendship.
I had a blast finding all 5 endings. Some of the dialogue is very funny as well. Wished you can pick the dialogue options with the keyboard instead of the mouse so you don't have to switch between the two.
Oh wow, visually speaking it's my favorite game so far, everything has so much personality and is so well made, i love it! The gameplay is nothing crazy but it's also really fun, felt like an easy Undertale boss, where i could either kill or talk my way out of it without the combat itself getting too crazy. Also made me laugh a lot, who knew the villain's favorite song was behind blue eyes huh? Amazing entry, congrats!
Pretty simple gameplay, but I love the hand drawn visuals. The animation for some of the later attacks were a real treat. I also enjoyed the dialog. The romance ending was hilarious! I will say that it was disappointing that there was no dialog if you simply attack him. But, overall, a great little game. Nice work!
Fantastic art and music, solid gameplay, and good writing. Overall a really good game. I laughed out loud at the full speak ending, that was great.
Not super important, but an easy quality of life change for this game would be to make everything use A/D or even left/right click for all actions. However, if you plan to add more moves / actions that would be less important.
Awesome entry! Im not going to spoil nothing, play it by yourself! Talk to Meteor Wizar and try to solve the problem hahaha! The art is great and the story too, great work! :v:
Epic, tence, funny, not so challanging, but it's ok :smiley_cat: Reminds me of Undertale battles with friendship dialogue option. It was really interesting to discover different endings, thanks for the game!
Nice game. I think I had the good ending. I never attacked even though I said "I'll zap you". Had this any effect on the ending? Saying that I will do something violent but then don't do it?
But great game, I liked the art style and the music. The most thing I liked was the story and the multiple ending
The animations are really good and the meteor wizard looks quite interesting! You also got some nice music! Having the ability to choose between talking and fighting reminded me of Undertale!
The graphics were really fun! They reminded me a lot of cuphead. I found the combat a bit rough to play sometimes my inputs didn't work and sometimes I moved further than I wanted, but I enjoyed the idea, it was pretty engaging. The writing was really fun, and I only wanted more, but we're in a short jam so I understand. Really good entry!
Beat it once in "talking mode" and once in "fighting mode". The talking one cracked me up. Obviously very simple gameplay, but I liked the idea, the art direction, and the writing, and simple games are good in Ludum Dare IMO. Nicely done!
the animation is lovely, brings back a lot of nostalgia for old webgames, the presence of multiple endings looks fascinating, although I haven't yet finished all of them, I'll keep playing for sometime. good game.
I really like the art, the gameplay is like an interactive anime (dragon's lair) or the old tiger electronics games, but that work fine, this is simple and efficient. Good job !
Beautiful game! The attack animations and music are gorgeous. Some pretty funny dialogue and funny different endings! I have nothing really to dislike here, though there was sometimes a bug where, after the Meteor Wizard speaks, I could only go right after going left first. Anyhow it's a great entry!
A lovely game! The premise is exciting, the visuals are good and all of the dialogue options were laugh-out-loud amusing while also hinting at a deeper history between the characters and the world. Bonus points for replay value via alternate endings.
My only complaints are that there's a chance for repeated dialogue, which is a relatively small issue, and that the HTML version kept eating my inputs occasionally, which was somewhat frustrating.
I honestly found this to be a perfect game jam game. The art and use of perspective was beautiful, I loved trying to get different endings. I think the dodging/movement mechanics could be refined but it didn't detract from my enjoyment. Great game!
Great graphics and very fitting music. The gameplay is also a very nice balance between minimalistic controls and still feeling in control and having fun.
Sometimes the keys did not seem to respond at all, but at least one does not instantly die - so not a real problem.
I discovered three of the endings, and kind of ran out of ideas to try to find additional ones
Oo the style is very nicely done! And the music/effects are as good as they get  Some thoughts: - I did not really understand why the Meteor wizard kept attacking so much, despite his happyness-level - Sometimes the A & D / keys did not register - Spamming the Z button is a neat idea!
Wow, I thought the spam mechanics for magic were amazing, and the effects/animations are awesome! A very complete game, and I was impressed by the fact that there are multiple endings. An extended version would be interesting, with more spell options, multiple enemies. Very good!
The graphics, perspective, and animations all reminded me of old 16 bit games that were forced to master all these tricks to give the illusion of 3d. I'd say you got that depth down pretty well!
After getting the first ending through nonstop spirit bombing, I was wondering how they heck you squeeze 5 endings out of this. But upon diving into the speech options I could see where you opened up those options. I thought that was all very clever because typical this sort of stuff simply offers you 2 options, which is the violent path of the peaceful path. It's also cool that each path had their own mood to it.
I'm a little curious what ends up causing the keys to not register as well. I got a little superstitious and would start clicking everywhere before the round started, hoping I would activate something with the focus. Pretty sure that didn't do anything.
Overall a pretty neat interpretation of the theme. You must've put a decent amount of work into the BG too which was very cool to see changing and giving the sense of falling all the way from the sky.
Nice animations and really pretty background and end cards. Found 4/5 endings :)
The controls were a little janky with the movement and clicking buttons. Right as the screen was fading to white I got killed and the word was destroyed.
Beautiful, beautiful artwork. Really well done. The music and general mood is also fantastic. The different gameplay modes are really interesting to try out, and offer a lot of variety to choose from. Also really liked how they can result in different endings!
If you’re looking for ideas for improvement, I think it would be neat if your dialogue choices affected the combat. Like if the wizard used different attack patterns depending on how he’s feeling or something.
Short and sweet! Loved the graphics and the different ways to deal with the conflict. Nothing wrong with the music either, but I think it could've been slightly more dramatic or upbeat.

I love the character design and art, SOOO well done!
One of my top games so far. Good job :)
The dodging felt clunky, but the game is just oozing with charm and care that I barely even noticed

*(A/D did feel a bit bugged/sticky, like it wasn't reading my inputs after dialog or something, but I managed to fight through with extra clicks)*
Great job overall!

Had this any effect on the ending?

good game.
Finding the various endings gives it good replay value, and the games are short enough to not feel tedious to reply.
Some of the attack patterns felt unavoidable, but the HP bar is thick enough for it to not really matter.
Graphics are solid and felt cohesive.
Always good to see more narrative works in LD. Nice work!

Wonderful work overall!
