10 Second Dating

Some of the gifts seem arbitrary for the question, but I really liked the idea overall. Definitely satisfying when I was able to give a gift that fit their response.

Cool game! I like the combination of the detective-style dialogues with the action-style aspect of trying to catch the constantly moving bubbles.

The game was very fun and engaging! I loved how you only had 10-seconds to desperately figure out what they want. Also I love how you took a concept that you see in other platforms and put it into a game... it was a great idea.

I agree with some of the other comments saying that some of the gifts were a bit arbitrary for the hints.

Artwork is alright, but honestly I think it fits the mood of the game very well. Music is great and really sets the tone of the game as well.

I got to 28 hearts. Reading the dialogue fast was neat. Some of the lines didn't make sense.

Nice work! Being bi and having the 'both' option is always a nice touch :smile: - I think it would be nice if the speech bubble question marks were activated on 'mouse down' instead of 'mouse up' since I found myself starting to click on them, but not quite have it activate all the time. Got 20 points on my second go. Good work!

Good job! Sounds design is awesome :laughing:. I think it would be better if there was a way to tell when the current date will end.

I really enjoyed this! The music's great and the voices were funny, it's a neat little game that fits nicely in the theme :) Great job!

not another dating sim! haha nice job for entering into the competition this year!

only got 15 hearts… pretty hard to follow the bubbles with my mouse, maybe they should go a little bit slower
however the face and voice of people are hilarious, great job!

I really enjoyed the concept of this game. When I was brainstorming ideas speed dating came to mind but was unable to figure out gameplay for that concept. Nice job doing what I couldn't!

I had a bit of a hard time catching the question bubbles. Making them bigger or having them move slower might help make that part easier. I was also using a track pad instead of a mouse, which may account for the difficultly I experienced.

Clever use of the theme! Well done on fitting in so many different character possibilities (generated or not, you still had to make the parts and code it up!) with amusing options and of course the amazing voice acting 😁 The correct answers can feel a bit obscure at times but that may also have been due to not reading enough dialogue before the time is up sometimes I suppose. Overall a good entry that feels well put together!
