A game for N players with N uniquely-backed 52-card decks.

Player 1 draws their top card and places it in the center of a large table.

On each player's turn afterward, they draw a card from their deck. Then:

If you can algebraically combine the number on a card in your hand with 2 to make a card on the table, or you have a face card, you may place your hand card on either open side of the table card, at a 90-degree angle to it.

-- Algebraic combination implies addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, power, and radix. The number 3, for example, can grow onto or from Ace, five, six, or nine.

once four cards encircle a corner, they are ranked in descending order, and the untied winner is flipped over and placed on the corner.

Every face firsts, and every ten seconds.

-- For example: if a corner of 6, 3, 5, and 10 is made, the 6 is 'first', and its owner claims the corner.

-- If a corner of a 5, 10, J, and Q is made, the Jack and Queen tie for first, and the 10 claims the corner.

If you are playing solitaire, the turn on which you draw the last card in your deck is the last turn of the game. Your score is the number of cards you have flipped over minus the cards left in your hand.

If you are playing multiplayer, once the decks run out, you may keep playing extra partial rounds until all hands empty, so players who were delayed by randomness get the vulture's advantage.
Each player's score is the number of their card-backs on the field. Highest wins!

Useful clarifications:

Face cards can grow from any card, but can also be grown from as if they were the next numbers after 10. Jacks are 11s, and can grow only 9s. Queens are 12s, and can grow 10s, 6s, and Aces.
Kings are 13s, and as in real life, try to claim everything for themselves and only make room for fellow royalty.
Aces count as 1 and 14, so they grow to and from queens, 3s, and 7s.
