Hello! In my game you try to do as much as you can in ten seconds of life. The number at the top of the screen is how many blocks of text you've been through. Enjoy!
There are some nice unexpected twists, but I felt like I was pressured to not enjoy the humor because of the time limit. That's an intriguing balance. I wonder if a visualization of the time remaining would help make it clear how the theme and gameplay work together?
I really like the concept of having to develop a character in 10 seconds, and I liked the humor of the game quite a bit! I did lose track of how much time I had left, and with the text scrolling it might have taken up too much time for waiting. Maybe having the text instantly show up along with the options, or fiddling with the layout might make it a bit snappier? Really good take on the theme!
I laughed out loud when the duck appeared. Really enjoyed this game and the narrative take on the theme. If anything I agree with @xorel about the text scrolling felt a bit long. Having the text instantly appear would give players more time to make decisions and enjoy the hilarious stories you created. Keep making games!
(in a rush to test many, don’t mind the cursory style)
1. page: the concept looks super original and interesting! 2. music is cute, and so is the scenery 3. agreed with pvg that a timer or something to that effect would help 4. "Do you want to play again?" -> "No" -> music stops XD 5. dialogue after! And realize the "O
