the bear animation is really great! the art is all really good, but it feels like it could be blended better. maybe shadow? i don't understand the timer on the apple.
Thanks! The timer is how long until the plant grows another fruit. It is kind of like an ability cooldown but some plants can hold multiple fruits at once.
Love this idea! Actually seeing the plants being carried by the bear is nice touch. I appreciated that the spiders got whipped around when hit with a knockback seed, got a big laugh from me. My favorite seed was a homing and a dandetiger mix
This game has really high potential, with cute visuals and nice animations and fun gameplay.. You can develop it further and release it! I had hard time trying to figure out jump button but it was W, my bad :D Other than that, a solid entry, good job! the graphics look cool as hell, although the controls for the bear feel a little more suited for a full on platformer type game as I had a lot of fun just trying to run through the enemies trying to not get hit by anything
Good looking art but the bear feels a bit too shaded to fit in maybe. The mechanics and controls worked well but the planting etc. was a bit confusing at first. Cool idea for sure. Too bad the progression wasn't very meaningful.
Late game is crazy haha, I get so many seeds I can't fit them all on screen, I buffed one really strong and it shredded enemies. Fun game overall, really liked the seed mixing mechanics and such. Would be interesting to have like a nursery or something where you can raise plants without equipping them or something and then you can swap without harvesting which seemed to waste a lot of the effects or I was just misreading the discriptions which was probably my only real feedback would be to make the UI more understandable, I'm not sure but I feel that some times when I planted something it would take the thing next to it or before it and not the thing I was highlighting so I'd have to harvest it, and then plant the thing I wanted to by switching to something else and then planting it again but overall fun stuff!
Great mix of short-burst platforming and incremental seed hybridization! I found the gardening a bit confusing at first, but it feels great to buff up a super seed and demolish everything in your path. The art style was super polished for a game jam game too, awesome job!
This has such an awesome potential with more polish. I had a lot of fun making crazy seeds! It did take me a while to figure out, and so there were several levels were I ran without any ammunition as I didn't realize that I had to keep the plant planted for me to have any "bullets" on the next stage. It was a fun time once I figured it out though~

Really interesting art style, and a lot of thought has gone into this game's mechanics, which was pretty cool to see. I loved pelting a wasp/bee with a tomato!
