It's Open Seasoning here! Hunting season has just begun, and it's time for you to go on a question to hunt your fellow veggies down. This is the only harvest that ever fights back! Kill enemies and reap their remains to try to get to the top of the leaderboard!
We wanted to build a game that encourages friends to get together and shoot em up! We really loved the wacky chaos of Stick Arena, and thought it lent itself really well to modern itch.io esque games. However, we've yet to see a multiplayer agar.io esque game introduce the concept of bullet hell! Generally, bullet hell type games have been reserved for single player/co-op games like Into the Gungeon, so we thought this would be the perfect opportunity to build out a battle royale bullet hell themed around vegetables fighting in a giant fry pan.
Huge shoutout to Victor Zhou! We didn't know anything about netcode going into this, and his tutorial served as the scaffolding for our game.
