Tactile Harvest

Wow.

Took me a minute to understand all the mechanics. But, it was really fun and well polished. Seems like the perfect compo game.

Oh I guess there is one thing I could mention that might be an improvement - I was left wishing I could reverse in a number of situations.

@mihkelroomet thank you very much!! Regarding reversing, I actually found myself thinking the same thing late into development, but I decided against it because I would have to tinker with the animations with little time left.

This is truly something else in the best way. I was most surprised by how much I enjoyed the visuals when seeing them in motion. The mechanics are super solid. And while I found myself wishing for a quick-turn action at first, I think mastering the dash mechanic could give me the agility I'm looking for.

High score: 205 seconds

It took me good 3mins to figure out I was playing the dual hand fish thing, and not the head-split-in-half alien, but once I got them going the hands are super cool to move around ! Crazy art style, I love it.

It also took me a while to figure out I was playing the fingers - then it took me a bit longer to figure out that the ... ahem... cactuses ?? were also fingers, lol. Once I got the hang of it, it was really fun! Good work, chill music, good sound effects.

Everything from the way the farmer walks, to the animation of the hand is so smooth, especially for being made so quickly! The game concept is also very fun. I like that there's multiple things to manage, but all of them are handled via the core mechanic of plucking the fingers then chucking them at something. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see this end up with a great score in all categories.

This is a fantastic compo game, I love the surreal graphics! The controls explanations are somewhat unclear but when you get it, it plays very well.

At first I thought I had to move the guy and was super confused why left and right didn't do anything. Once figured out, controls still felt quite clumsy and difficult. Game setting is very bizarre and I really liked that. Good atmosphere too. Art and animations are Super nice, but gameplay is ultimately not very satisfying.

Nice gamplay. The graphics and the theme are really good. The hand is a little hard to control at first, but you get used quickly. 180 highest score. Really good entry.

The animation got me. Didn't see that style coming, not much art/anim but all well polished and super smooth!

Great game. The only negative was the hand controls felt clunky even after I get used to them. The arts is good and compliments the surreal atmosphere. Really enjoyed the music too.

Surreal game with hands and eyes etc. Anyways, the control is really not fun and it makes it hard to move and act fast when needed.
But I get the idea of harvest management vs harvest collection stuff. I may need to replay to manage harvesting and fending better.

Love the graphics! The controls were a bit hard to figure out as they are a bit unintuitive, but really enjoyed the concept.

A very funny and pretty well made game. I really like the visuals, animations and the music. The controls feels a bit funky and and for some reason the hands don't like to move in the beginning of the game. But anyway is this overall a weird, funny and well made jam game. Well done.

Surprisingly great game! The art is really awesome as well as music, Hands character is so clever idea. Game progression is stressful a little bit with unescapable failure but hey, it was only 48 hours. One of the best compo entries at this LD.

What a delightfully weird game. The art was strange but very well done. The sfx and music track also worked quite well and suited the game. The controls took a bit to get used to, but once I figured it out I was off harvesting fingers.

I was playing the HTML5 version on Google Chrome and didn't see the patience meter at the bottom of the screen.

All in all, great game for 48 hours!
