HOW TO PLAY?

Our main goal is to feed the worms on both sides of the map. For this, firstly, we must produce bread from the wheat we harvest.

Watch out! if the worms get too hungry, they will start to get angry. And that means the end of the game. You have to feed them constantly.

Besides, you're not the only one who needs wheat. Slimes also consume wheat as food. That's why you must drive them out of your field. But don't be afraid. they won't hurt you. All they want is some food.

Okay I don't know what I hate more, the fact that I played it for so long, or the fact that the jump height could be a bit higher.

This is a good game :) but don't make the jump height so precise :sweat_smile:, my run ended because I jump into the worm.

I kind of wish that there were more to the game.

What a cute idea and style, and great execution! Now imagine the game as a 4 player couch co-op with different production lines the players have to fulfill, like a 2D platformer version of Overcooked so-to-speak.

Nice game, worked quite well even in the browser. However after first run, the sound disappeared :/
But really fun game, remembers me of the old games like "Ugh!" or other, simple, but requires fast thinking. Really fun, could be a fun game for a mobile phone to kill some time :D

this game was so fun!! really cool concept and kept me on my toes the entire time :) i could totally see this becoming a fun party game. similarly to cybek, the audio cut out for me after the first run, not sure if that's a bug but that was p much the only issue i ever experienced. in terms of the game's balance, i would've loved to play for longer but the game is actually p difficult! having just one worm, having items auto-collect, bread auto-feed, or decreasing the spawn rate of the slimes would've helped. like someone else said, this game had a lot of polish, and if i didn't know, i would've thought it was a non-game jam gam. congrats!

Very simple, but very polished game! All the graphics, animations, and sounds worked together to create a charming game that was satisfying to play and move around in. My main complaint is that it doesn't get more difficult the further you get. I got into a pattern where I just kept doing the same thing over and over with no sign of anything changing or challenging me.

really cute, really well done, had a great time running around pokin' slimes with my pitchfork. i think another commenter mentioned this, but i did have a bit of trouble with the jumping mechanic (particularly the double jump), where i expected i might make a jump but would fall short. small thing and hardly impacts my overall experience, great stuff!

Really great entry!

+ The double jump felt a bit weird, I had a hard time getting up to the higher platforms
+ Amazing graphics & music, loved it!
+ I didn't like how you could die by falling in one of the worms' holes. I fell in there on accident once and I was on a good run, so it didn't feel good.
+ Very juicy!
+ The slimes are really cute! I would have liked more variants but this is amazing for a Compo submission.
+ I also noticed that the music doesn't play again after you restart. at least in the web version.

Had a lot of fun playing this game! Great job!

Fun little game! The animation is really smooth! The music is awesome as well, but it doesn't play again when restarting for some reason, maybe it's a bug?
