The kicks propel you forward like a caffeinated kangaroo on roller skates. Spam it to your heart's content, and you'll feel like you're cheating the laws of physics! 🦘
The sound design? Oh, it's like Mozart and Skrillex had a baby.
The background art? Absolutely mind-blowing! It's like Picasso, Van Gogh, and Bob Ross threw a paint-fueled rave and invited us to join the party. 🎨
This game has more mood than a room full of moody teenagers

I can't rate as I wasn't a participant of this one, but I love the atmosphere and the characters are interesting. Definitely a game that would have benefited from more time and the input of a beautiful lady (if you know anyone.. ;-P). 8 out of 10, would kick a crotch again.

I don't like jam games that use neural networks. Dislike.

That being said if you turned this into a dive kick platformer all about moving around jumping and diving around that would be a blast of a game. My advice is to do just that.
Regarding the art its cool though being dedicated art team I was hoping to have enemy variants but in my playthrough only was able to kill my own sprites.
Background art is job well done though both of these pieces together style wise do look different so I think inspo boards would have helped keep the two on the same page.
Overall the potential is there and with more time you could have made this into a fun arcading platforming one input fun!
